Minor edits[edit]

Hi Neville199! I noticed that you recently marked an edit as minor that may not have been. "Minor edit" has a very specific definition on Wikipedia – it refers only to superficial edits that could never be the subject of a dispute, such as typo corrections or reverting obvious vandalism. Any edit that changes the meaning of an article is not a minor edit, even if it only concerns a single word. Please see Help:Minor edit for more information. Thank you. Managing a conflict of interest[edit]

Hello, Neville199. We welcome your contributions, but if you have an external relationship with the people, places or things you have written about on the page Worshipful Company of Scientific Instrument Makers, you may have a conflict of interest (COI). Managing a conflict of interest[edit]

There were a number of things in the original piece that were inaccurate either becuse they have changed over time or because someone else or AI has changed them. I am happy to remove anything that might be against the guidelines but I wanted the facts to be correct. I particulary wanted to change the coat of arms as the central shield that had been posted was incorreclty identified as the coat of arms. So yes I am Clerk of this company and paid by them but I do not see a conflict of interst in presenting correct facts. Neville199 (talk) 15:54, 24 April 2024 (UTC)[reply]
