I've had enough.

Hi.

You know, when I first started adding and editing here, I was worried that I'd get things wrong, or make mistakes, or end up just getting in the way.

And while, yes, I admit that I am enthusiastic about the Star Fleet Universe, and have tried to expand the level of information here about it as a setting and as a range of games, I made sure to both ask ADB first about the use of the images I added to the articles, and to make sure that the information I added was taken from the historical information and rules details seen in ADB's own works - and to reference the books in which the information can be found.

There are hordes of pages for all manner of games, hobbies and whatnot - and considering that the SFU has been evolving for over 25 years, and is an officially licenced set of products to boot, I felt that it was not that big a deal to try and find a little room for the setting here.

But alas, I was wrong.

Not only do I seem to be at fault for the images used, I'm apparently a kind of propagandist, too.

How wonderful.

Note that I tried to make the articles as informative as I could without making a comment one way or another - for example, when working on the Federation Commander article, I made notes of the game system, the expansions etc, but I didn't say whether the game was great or rubbish or anywhere in between. Though, in hindsight, I might have been more careful about adding in reviews and whatnot.

But the pages for the various factions in the SFU? The information shown is ALL from published ADB works - I took special care not to add in original research, and to describe the details as found in the works themselves.

However, none of this matters if it turns out that no-one wants the articles to be here - if the SFU as a setting, or the games which are connected to it, are considered to be surplus to requirements.

Or if I am seen as a nuisance, and that I'm wasting people's time by even being here.

Sigh - and now I feel that I'm not doing anyone a favour by posting or editing in other, non-SFU pages either.

So, if some of you think that I'm just another nuisance, just say as much, and I'll do you a favour by not bothering anymore.

I just wish I had kept copies of those pages, so I could have found somewhere for them to go...

...but it's too late for that now.

And now I feel that it's too late for me to even bother trying anymore.

I'd like to be wrong, but that's not my call to make, it seems...
