Hi Neddy1234, I noticed that you created the article Binbinga, thanks for that. However as for now reliable sources (with inline citations) relating to the material you wrote are lacking. Credible sources are necessary, especially because the article is about a people. Furthermore, as I tried to provide sources to the section of Mythology I found that other sources are talking about the snake Ulanji instead of Bobbi-Bobbi. Djeebbana language

Hi,

The Ethn. description is corrupted. "100 partial L2 speakers (1991)" is from the last edition and was supposedly the only speakers. "240 (2006 census)" is from the recent census. It makes no sense to include both, since the first means that the second is false. — kwami (talk) 07:26, 16 January 2014 (UTC)

Ethnologue is saying that 100 partial or second language speakers exist in addition to the 240 first language users. Please read the Ethnologue entry carefully before reverting my edit as all information was correct.

Minority languages in Italy

Hi. I read the Law number 482 of 15 December 1999 (I'm Italian) and it clearly says that those languages are just protected by law (it's different from recognized). The same law states that Italian is the official language. The only languages recognized and co-official with Italian in particular regions and territories are French, German, Ladin and Slovene whose recognition is explained by Italian constitution and bilateral treaties (and this is already explained in the note a of the infobox).--EnStat (talk) 10:15, 18 June 2014 (UTC)

Never Be the Same

If it were true, the song would have been in her chart history by now. I think Billboard made an error. I find it strange Never Be the Same made it to #8 on the R&B Charts with no radio support because Mauboy isn't signed to a US label and she never promoted the song in the US. —Lightsout (talk) 00:27, 15 August 2014 (UTC)

Wikipedia requires that all material added to articles be accompanied by reliable, verifiable sources explicitly cited in the text in the form of an inline citation, which you can learn to make here. With regard to material about the content of narrative works that is evaluative, analytical or interpretive, the source must be a secondary source, and the analysis must be derived from that source. Editors cannot add their own analyses to articles, because that is original research, nor can editors merely cite the work in question for anything other than descriptions of its content or credits, because that is synthesis, which is a form of original research.
• In a similar vein, editors should not add their own opinions to articles, as you did when you remarked that elements of the video were "beautiful", "sexy" or "effective".

Other problems with this material that did not go directly to its removal, but which bear mention for future reference to writing good articles include the following:

• Material in Wikipedia articles must be written in a formal tone, and therefore should be written in the third person, and not in the second person. This means that the text should not address the reader info "In this captures 'you can see Rihanna's..."
• Material in Wikipedia articles needs to be written in coherent sentences, with proper grammar. "In this captures..." and "In general video represents.." are not proper grammar, and the passages "In some scenes using visual effects." and "Especially B/W scene when Rihanna fully nude (only with silver paint) into a silver pyramid (tetrahedron)." are not complete sentences. Sentences must have a subject and a predicate.
• Only the first word and proper nouns should be capitalized in section headings, as indicated by WP:SECTIONHEAD. It is also not a good idea to explicitly indicate the length of a section in its heading with comments like "(Brief)", since it is not the convention on Wikipedia, unnecessary, given that the reader can already gauge a section's length at a glance, and the length of a section may change as others edit it.
• Terms should not formatted in boldface with a legitimate reason, such as the presentation of the article's name in the Lead section, the name of cast members in a production's cast list, etc.

FYI, the name 'Ngaanyatjarra' is based on that variety having the proximal demonstrative ngaanya; varieties that use nyanganya for the same demonstrative can be referred to as 'Nyanganyatjara', and so are by definition distinct varieties from Ngaanyatjatjarra. Aari language

Thanks for your edits on the Aari language, which are a huge improvement! But you write that until 2009 Ethnologue treated Aari as a dialect of Gayil. It is correct that Ethnologue lumped the two languages together, but not under the name Gayil. Aari has been the name for both languages, and only from the 2009 edition was Gayil recognized as a separate language. I confirmed this again by looking at a downloaded Ethnologue report for Ethiopia from May 2007, where Gayil is listed as a dialect under the language name Aari. "Last three Speakers"

It states that you took the picture of the last three speakers of Marringarr, if so couldnt you provide their names and a date for when the photo was taken. It is not good practice to depersonalize indigenous people by referring to them as "informants" and "speakers" when in fact they are persons with names. Now, it may be that they have requested not to have their names included, in which case that would be a good thing to note, or at least find another wording. the photo was taken in Australia back in 2007; they are the last three speakers of the Magati Ke dialect and I met with them and we chatted and provided some great info about their lives and their native languages. "Native name" of Alaska

I'm afraid I have reverted your edit adding the Aleut name to the lead of the article. The reason is basically WP:UNDUE. Alaska is home to dozens of native tribes and languages. Each of them has their own name. If we listed them all that would be absurd. If we pick just one for the lead it is as though we are saying "this is the native name for Alaska" when in fact it is one of many. So, while it makes perfect sense to discuss this in the entymology section of the article, it seems to lend undue to weight to one language over the others to have it right in the lead section.
