January 2017[edit]

Hello! I noticed back in April of 2016 that you edited History of deaf education in the United States to include a passage followed by a few links to the Oralism article "disguised" as references. (That is, they looked like this.[8]) That's a bit deceptive, because they were made to look like citation links but didn't act like citation links (and appeared identical to citation numbers already in the article), plus Wikipedia itself isn't supposed to be used as a source. What exactly were you trying to do in when you made the edit? (Here's the edit, for reference.) - Purplewowies (talk) 08:09, 23 January 2017 (UTC)[reply]

I am new to editing Wikipedia, and it looks like I made an error here. I agree that the reference to Wikipedia doesn't make sense at all. I added the relevant citations. Hopefully this clarifies the issue.Ncaselli (talk) 17:48, 24 January 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Response to your Suggestions on the National Theatre of the Deaf article[edit]

Regarding suggestions 1,2, and 3, these all relate to the lead paragraph which I did not write and was hesitant to change, at least not until I have completed my work on the parts I wrote and added to the existing lead paragraph.

It is my plan to go back and make small edits to the lead paragraph to improve it and to make all parts of the article cohesive.

Additionally, I intend to replace the XXs with accurate facts. (I couldn't remember them when I was drafting from my notes and focusing on successful paraphrasing.)

In the Mission section, I will capitalize both hearing and deaf.

In the last days before the final wiki article is due (May 7), I will add to the section entitled Notable/Famous NTD Actors.

Great idea to add info. about the currently running Broadway production of Children of a Lesser God.

THANK YOU for your suggestions.

Apostrophe in dates[edit]

Hi! Your edit to Cochlear implant changed the text "1970s" to "1970's". This is an unusual format and different to the style used in pages like 1970s, so I have reverted the edit.—AlphaMikeOmega (talk) 17:38, 16 June 2020 (UTC)[reply]
