Arabized People[edit]

Well, when it does come to Iraqis, they (the majority) where converted, and so they actually CALL themselves as "Arabs." In terms of geneology, though, I'd say that they are "Sumerians," or in other words, the descendents of the Ancient Babylonians (commonly known as "Chaldeans").

However, there is a "Kurdish" minority and a small "Turkish" population. I hope that answers your question (these arguments never seem to end!)
