BB Housemates

Hello, Nanami Kamimura. You have new messages at Template talk:Big Brother housemates.
You can remove this notice at any time by removing the {{Talkback}} or {{Tb}} template.

It should be fixed now. Let me know if there is still a problem. Plastikspork ―Œ(talk) 03:34, 7 October 2009 (UTC)

The problem is that it is the first time in survivor history that the use of the hidden immunity object led to a tiebreaker and in the tiebreaker, two people changed votes. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 124.105.251.54 (talk) 16:14, 23 October 2009 (UTC)

On PBB Chronology of Events

I just got confused with this: How come in the third week of Pinoy Big Brother Teen Edition Plus (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pinoy_Big_Brother:_Teen_Edition_Plus#Week_3), the last entry says "Jieriel became the first person to be evicted from the house". It has been there ever since, so I got confused on what to follow. Perhaps you can give me a nudge on which is right, to put it, and therefore my first revert was correct, or it's wrong, and therefore this line from Teen Edition Plus should be removed? Thanks. LordBelly06 (talk) 03:38, 25 October 2009 (UTC)

Thanks for the reply. Now it's clear :) LordBelly06 (talk) 04:19, 25 October 2009 (UTC)

Hi. I have a question about Pinoy Big Brother Season 2 Chronology of events. The separate article seemed to have been deleted. Is there any way for the data included there to be included in this article? LordBelly06 (talk) 13:21, 29 October 2009 (UTC)

I understand. I guess it will be difficult to choose the right events. But maybe we can do what has been done in the 2nd celebrity edition and 2nd teen edition? I don't know who did those, but I guess that format can be followed so that we can put the section up again in the main article. LordBelly06 (talk) 15:09, 29 October 2009 (UTC)
There has been one article of Big Brother, I think that of the UK version, which actually used a table for the events, which they can choose to hide. I don't know if this will help with making the article more encyclopedic and still retain the chronology portion. I guess your version is pretty much sound and correct, as evidencedy by what you've been doing in the past and current articles of PBB. I suggest that there be a move for it to be added again, if it is not too much to ask? Thank you, by the way, for answering my queries. LordBelly06 (talk) 15:23, 29 October 2009 (UTC)

Re: Question regarding MythBusters (2009 season)

Re your message: Long time, no see! Glad to see that you are still around. To answer your question, I think you can write it up as Wikipedia doesn't contain spoilers. If it aired somewhere, then it's fair game. You might want to note in the Talk page that the episode aired outside of the U.S. and have a reference available that it already aired because somebody might doubt you and claim you are making stuff up. Better to counter that with citations or a note on the talk page. -- Gogo Dodo (talk) 18:02, 28 October 2009 (UTC)

Pinoy Big Brother: logo replacement

Hello. I was wondering if it was okay that I replaced the old logo file PBBdoubleUP to PBBdUP. I did this because the old file malfunctioned, and thought it would be alright to start fresh, and upload a new logo. All the original rationale and licensing is there, like in the old file. I hope this is okay. If I missed doing something to the file, or anything I did wrong, feel free to fix anything. Sorry, I'm new to this kind of scenario! --Dude (talk) 23:09, 7 November 2009 (UTC)

Survivor Philippines Palau...

Hehehehe. I'm just curious, since you've been the editor of Survivor Philippines articles since it started. What is your stand in this season? How do you feel about everything that happened since start to finish? Kasi, ako, I express myself in other websites, and am happy that my initial bet, won, Amanda. Well, just wanna know. Thanks.--Ja 1207 (talk) 15:58, 13 November 2009 (UTC)

Ah, that's OK. I just thought that since you also watch these things, you also react with what you saw and heard. That's OK.--Ja 1207 (talk) 16:10, 13 November 2009 (UTC)

PBB Double-Up

There has been an edit by a user which he keeps on reverting back. It's about the color of the bar beside the names in the nominatuion history. He keeps on changing it to their original house, even though what we agreed on is that it should reflect the house in which the person was living in before the eviction. Can you please help? Edit: I did not edit it back. I tried talking to that user but he seems to be not listening. Can you please do the final edit? LordBelly06 (talk) 01:33, 14 November 2009 (UTC)

Thank you for your edits. I just don't know how to deal with those situations here in Wikipedia. Now that Survivor Philippines: Palau is over, I hope we get to work more in The PBB Double Up article. LordBelly06 (talk) 01:55, 14 November 2009 (UTC)

I will check about the nominations when I'm home, but so far it looks correct. What do you think of the edits with the Housemates section, specifically, the editing of the table you made? The order has been mixed up, and I don't think it should be done, but it's your call. LordBelly06 (talk) 03:17, 15 November 2009 (UTC)

I have an idea to better suit the nomination table. There was one time when PDA and American Idol song lists were divided into two columns, so as to shorten the article itself. In effect, there are 2 invisible columns. Could this be done instead of the current revision wherein the saved from eviction names are put in two obvious columns? I don't know how to phrase it better, so I hope I was clear. LordBelly06 (talk) 15:04, 6 December 2009 (UTC)

Hey Nanami. I have done an edit and asked for comments in the talk page. This is about my edit of combining the nomination totals with the nomination table itself. What do you think of it? I would have wanted to completely immitate Big Brother UK's version with the background color of the totals same as that of the housemate's eviction, but with the red font for House B, it seems unlikely to do so. What do you think of it? LordBelly06 (talk) 09:36, 23 December 2009 (UTC)

I have spoken to the admin who deleted my photo and argues my case. It is up to them to put it back or not. When the image is put back up, I will revert your edit. Honestly, I don't get their point of deleting my photo. I made that photo through paint, and spent time looking at one forumers screenshots to be able to make that. Edit filter help

I'm trying to get something done with the edit filter we discussed in the past. I'm willing to do it myself, though I'm clueless as I haven't done one before. See my post with some mixed responses here. Essentially I figured out a trigger phrase that would activate the edit filter for three of the Digimon articles he targets. I'd hope you could go through the other articles and his edits and find other phrases that could be used to devise a suitable filter for them as well? I'm busy and could use your help, as you brought this to my attention in the first place. See the linked to post to see what phrases I came up for and for what three articles. Use a similar process to discover other key phrases. We can give our findings to the pro's who will hopefully help to devise a suitable filter(s) that will prevent this from happening al together in future. Cheers, NJA (t/c) 20:58, 3 December 2009 (UTC)

Note that I'm aware that more articles are vandalised, but we must take it step by step. I need keyword triggers that would help trigger the filter. Your help in that would be appreciated, but that's really all for now. NJA (t/c) 07:01, 4 December 2009 (UTC)

Digimon vandal

List as many IPs as you can that this guy uses. I can see if some range blocks can be performed to get rid of this guy.—Ryūlóng (竜龙) 11:30, 14 February 2010 (UTC)

Could you sort the list numerically?—Ryūlóng (竜龙) 11:39, 14 February 2010 (UTC)

Blocking doesn't look possible. If you could gather a bunch of diffs from the pages that he most often hits, maybe an edit filter can be produced to prevent him from even editing the pages he always hits without having to protect the pages.—Ryūlóng (竜龙) 12:18, 14 February 2010 (UTC)

Well, all I can suggest now is presenting some evidence to WP:FILTER. This way, the pages can be monitored for the bad edits and the specific edits that add the false information can be denied from being made like the spam blackfilter does to links.—Ryūlóng (竜龙) 12:34, 14 February 2010 (UTC)

  • Unsure of how helpful it will be, but I blocked this range for six months. NJA (t/c) 13:25, 15 February 2010 (UTC)

Re: Problem with Bclrocks10

Re your message: Yes, I'm aware of him. Several of us are. What really made me pay more attention was his behavior towards Meaghan. I think he generally means well with the Survivor articles, just doesn't get that what he has been changing isn't correct. Depending upon his behavior over his next few edits, a discussion about him on WP:ANI might be appropriate. Since I edit the same Survivor articles as he does, I don't think I should do any administrative actions against him without consulting others since I could be looked at as "involved". However, if his behavior towards Meaghan doesn't change, then I have no problems taking administrative action on that. -- Gogo Dodo (talk) 17:58, 16 March 2010 (UTC)

Active Banana and Pinoy Big Brother

nampota, Black Kite's on Active Banana's side...and that freak ought to be smiling right about now. But still, chances are he could proceed with culling the data on the other PBB articles. --Eaglestorm (talk) 17:52, 19 April 2010 (UTC)

Re: Active Banana

Re your message: It is indeed a bit out of my league, but if you are referring to the edit like this one, then I happen to agree with its removal. Personal descriptions like those must be sourced. While some of the descriptions are fairly benign, some of the others have a negative tone to it and therefore must be sourced. Some of them are a little bit flowery, too, like for instance the second to last profile. If you can provide sources for the profiles, things would a lot better. Also, try to see if you can work out the issue on the talk page. -- Gogo Dodo (talk) 18:01, 19 April 2010 (UTC)

  • I think we need to lengthen the semi-protection of the page. Look at it now, it hasn't ben unprotected for over 24 hours, and IPs are already on the move. Think of what will happen after the Big Night, specially when their bets won't win. Which Administrator did you ask to semi-protect the page again?--TwelveOz (talk) 07:42, 26 June 2010 (UTC)

Disputed non-free use rationale for File:Akio-Sispri.jpg

Thank you for uploading File:Akio-Sispri.jpg. However, there is a concern that the rationale provided for using this file on Wikipedia may not meet the criteria required by Wikipedia:Non-free content. This can be corrected by going to the file description page and adding or clarifying the reason why the file qualifies under this policy. Adding and completing one of the templates available from Wikipedia:Non-free use rationale guideline is an easy way to ensure that your file is in compliance with Wikipedia policy. Please be aware that a non-free use rationale is not the same as an image copyright tag; descriptions for files used under the non-free content policy require both a copyright tag and a non-free use rationale.

If it is determined that the file does not qualify under the non-free content policy, it might be deleted by an administrator within a few days in accordance with our criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions, please ask them at the media copyright questions page. Thank you. Sfan00 IMG (talk) 09:23, 2 July 2010 (UTC)

Re: Rangeblock question

Re your message: Maybe. It is a wireless provider's address block, so is probably in use by other people. Let me see what else is coming from that particular 202.70.54.0/24 network. -- Gogo Dodo (talk) 06:12, 3 September 2010 (UTC)

Okay, I set it for a short 31 hours. I don't like setting long rangeblocks, but I don't see anything useful coming from that network recently. It might help and it might not. A /24 network is tiny for a wireless provider, so I wouldn't be surprised if he reappears on an entirely different /24 network since the same wireless provider also has 202.70.53.0/24 and 202.70.55.0/24 assigned to them, for example. -- Gogo Dodo (talk) 06:26, 3 September 2010 (UTC)
Though I just noticed that this /24 has been blocked before for much longer than 31 hours. So... if he returns from that same /24 after 31 hours, drop me another note and I'll reset it for something longer. -- Gogo Dodo (talk) 06:32, 3 September 2010 (UTC)
