Welcome!

Hello, Nanami Kamimura/Archive, Welcome to Wikipedia!
I hope you like working here and want to continue. If you need help on how to name new articles, look at Naming Conventions, and for help on formatting the pages visit the Manual of Style. If you need general help, look at Help and the FAQ, and if you can't find your answer there, check the Village pump (for Wikipedia related questions) or the Reference Desk (for general questions). There's still more help at the Tutorial and the Policy Library. Also, don't forget to visit the Community Portal — and if you have any more questions after that, feel free to post them on my New-Users' Talk Page.
Additional tips:
Here are some extra tips to help you get around Wikipedia:
  • If you made any edits before you got an account, you might be interested in assigning those to your username.
  • If you want to play around with your new Wiki skills, try the Sandbox.
  • Click on the Edit button on a page, and look at how other editors did what they did.
  • You can sign your name using three tildes, like this: ~~~. If you use four, you can add a datestamp too. Always sign comments on Talk pages, never sign Articles.
  • You might want to add yourself to the New User Log
  • If your first language isn't English, try Wikipedia:Contributing to articles outside your native language
Happy editing!

Image tags

Hi, when you take a picture and upload it to wikipedia you can add a tag like {{gfdl}} to the upload summary. This makes sure everyone (even computers) can see that the image is freely availible, and makes sure that you get proper credit. See image copyright tags for details. (by the way, thanks for uploading the three shuffles and a draw images. I have tagged them for you.) Zeimusu | Talk 04:12, 10 Mar 2005 (UTC)

Filipino Wikipedians

Greetings, 上村七美! As part of the Wikipedia:User categorization project, we would encourage you to include yourself in the category of Filipino Wikipedians by adding [[Category:Filipino Wikipedians|{{subst:PAGENAME}}]] to your user page. Thanks in advance. RashBold Talk 22:31, 23 November 2005 (UTC)

Sources for Babette

Hello, good work on Babette, and thanks for the contribution. However, you did not provide any references or sources in the article. Keeping Wikipedia accurate and verifiable is very important, and as you might be aware there is currently a push to encourage editors to cite the sources they used when adding content. From what websites, books, or other places did you learn the information that you added to Babette? Would it be possible for you to mention them in the article? You can simply add links, or see WP:CITET if you wish to review some of the different citation methods. Thanks! Lupin|talk|popups 13:15, 7 December 2005 (UTC)

Thanks! The article feels a lot more complete now. Lupin|talk|popups 13:05, 8 December 2005 (UTC)

Pinoy Big Brother

Thanks for your contributions in Pinoy Big Brother and Pinoy Big Brother, Season 1! Merry Christmas to you as well Mishee 02:09, 25 December 2005 (UTC)

Thanx 4 letting me know about the problem...kindly check it..if it's just already I've reverted something out there..Padillo

images in userboxes

Unfortunately, you cannot use fair use images on a user's personal page, thus they cannot be used in a userbox. I've therefore replaced the images with acronyms. Sorry about that. Janizary 05:21, 22 February 2006 (UTC)

Continuing a conversation

Previously...

Let me guess... this is PPK01 from the Pichi Pichi Pitch Live Start forum, right? You're now a Wikipedian, too? - 上村七美 23:41, 26 February 2006 (UTC)

Yes, this is me. I have been a Wikipedian for some time; I am a big fan of Wikipedia. Thank you for contacting me. ^-^ Ppk01 09:18, 27 February 2006 (UTC)

Uh, you better type that on my user talk page, so I know that you have a reply. But that's OK. Since when did you become a Wikipedian? - 上村七美 10:09, 27 February 2006 (UTC)

And now, the continuation.

Well, it's hard to keep track, really. It's definately been at least a year now, but I remember accessing Wikipedia before that, so you never know. I don't usually do anything more than minor edits (such as changing Pokemon to Pokémon), but I've been doing a few slightly more major edits recently, such as those to the article on Astro Boy (the character, not the series). Ppk01 11:20, 27 February 2006 (UTC)

And now, the continuation. ...A-again.

No, I did not know that you created said article, but I did think it was strange that there was no MMPPP article at the time, and was thinking of creating one back then. Unfortunately, I didn't know enough about the series at the time, but the article (as it stands) has helped. Thanks for creating the article. Ppk01 15:41, 28 February 2006 (UTC)

weakest link

ok Ive added Thailand to the map. Regards, -- Astrokey44|talk 15:26, 9 April 2006 (UTC)

no problem, its been updated -- Astrokey44|talk 05:32, 10 April 2006 (UTC)

See Talk:Bianca Gonzales. I disagree when you moved the page. Also, I've read on StarWeek magazine that it is really Gonzalez, not Gonzales. --Howard the Duck | talk, 14:27, 1 May 2006 (UTC)

I have converted the userbox back to a redirect. For two reasons. 1) Copy-paste move is bad practice. 2) A better titled, more useful template exists. --Cat out 21:33, 28 May 2006 (UTC)

Brenda of Pinoy Big Brother: Teen Edition

Brenda has always been referred to by her full name, Brenda Fox Noquillo, in public (e.g. television) appearances. She even mentioned it on more than one occasion during the entire run of Pinoy Big Brother: Teen Edition. Noquillo is her real last name while Fox is her middle name.

Pinoy Big Brother Table

To you, there's nothing wrong in removing the table in the Big Brother article. But to Howard, it is different. You have to understand that Filipinos are not the only users in the English Wikipedia. So don't just stress what is right for you. You should talk to him and have a compromise. For now, your edits will be reverted until that issue is resolved. In fact, you have the wrong info. - 上村七美 | talk 11:41, 13 June 2006 (UTC)
Hi! Regarding your reply, I'm not stressing what's right for me. I'm just saying that since Filipinos are the ones most likely to use the article, then tailor it for them - Filipinos are a visual people (and hence, a table is more preferable). And yes, there has been a consensus with the other primary editor of the article, namely, Howard. You might want to contribute to the infobox being planned. - User:Matthewprc 18:29, 16 June 2006 (UTC+8)

Re:Images in userboxes

first off, i dont mean to sound rude when i say this

but from what i can tell, you've changed 4 of the ones i've made

  1. One Piece
    • the image that i used here i uploaded my own copy
      • granted on further investigation i notice that there was already a copy on wiki but has been removed for reasons that i dont quite understand
  2. Ghost in the Shell
    • the image that i used for this one was provided on wikipedia, so i dont see why it was removed
  3. Evangilion
    • the image i used for this one was a one that i found online, i stated where i found it, and even though i forgot to do the copyright box when i uploaded it, i have sense fixed it
      • granted again, there is also a image of this already on wikipedia here i decided not to use this as it had a white background and i wanted a black for the one i was goin 2 use
  4. Full Metal Alchemist
    • yet again, i clearly state where the image was found, and how i had edited it to remove some thigns that i didn't want on it
      • what i didn't mention was that it was an off shoot from a projet i did for school
        • what i did was outlined the entire picture of this and then cleaned that up, then proceeded to add actual picture's into it so that it looked realistic (yet agian, you can find a link here to see that), from all this i filled one in black for use as a buddy icon on an online game i play

so i appologise if i am missing some small detail hidden among a moutain of text but can you please tell me why these 4 templates had to be changed

thanks, --Ancientanubis 23:29, 18 June 2006 (UTC)

well first of, what is it you consiter to be "free use", i mean if i were to draw something in paint and then said anyone could use it... would that not be free use???
nextly(is that even a word[lol]), IMHO the ones that i edited(besides the NERV one) were some what pathetic them selves and i felt that it was a discredit to those shows to have them like that(i apologise if they are of your design, its just how i feel), the one piece one for example, yets it shows a jolly roger but i personally felt that it didn't capture the actual feel for the show so i changed it to something that did
so sence i feel that i'm fighting a battle that is already lost then let me ask you this, is there any way that i/we/who ever can work to make these box's soemthin a lil more respectible??

Darn. I figured it was already on Wikipedia and thus okay. Bajnyhnoj 15:19, 29 June 2006 (UTC)

About the templates

Thank you for telling me that. I will change them within these few days. I do not have access to a computer with image processing programs until tuesday. MythSearcher 09:42, 2 July 2006 (UTC)

Kapamilya, Deal or No Deal

Sorry if I've been doing lots of mistakes. I'm still exploring the world of wikipedia. Please continue reminding me for my errors. By the way, I might not be able to sustain the updates on Deal or No Deal because I dont get to watch that often the said show during Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays. If ever i do happen to watch it, I failed to watch from the start. Your help to keep the trivia updated will be very much needed. More power. John earlm 18:12, 8 July 2006 (UTC)

Bandila

you might want to give contributions to the new news program Bandila of ABS-CBN News John earlm 18:07, 8 July 2006 (UTC)

Toni Gonzaga

How about a page about Toni Gonzaga? John earlm 18:07, 8 July 2006 (UTC)

Kim Chiu

You can still recreate the article, since it was prodded, it doesn't count on the recreation prohibition rules. --Howard the Duck 14:44, 22 July 2006 (UTC)

Aebliss

Thanks for the welcome! I hope my editing continues to be acceptable and would appreciate it if you told me if and when I'm overstepping my bounds, since I'm still new at all of this. Thanks as well for the helpful links - I'll have to give them a look soon. I'm glad you enjoyed the little bits of info I added to the Sister Princess pages. Incidentally, how might I go about asking the community at large whether someone would like to take up the challenge of adding pictures to another page I've been editing? Art is life and life is an art. 18:36, 11 September 2006 (UTC)

A message of thanks.

I wanted to thank you for nihongonizing the rest of the Mermaid Melody Pichi Pichi Pitch article. Then I forgot. Then I remembered. Then I forgot again. The next time I remembered, I decided I wouldn't bother. However, my conscience caught up with me, and I soon began to grow restless; as my guilt grew, I found myself unable to do common everyday things, such as sleep. I decided the only decent thing to do would be to thank you, and apologize for not thanking you sooner. Besides, it's nice to be thanked, isn't it? Thank you! --Ppk01 12:14, 2 October 2006 (UTC)

Nokia 3250

It was really entered as MicroSD, i dont know who changed it to MiniSD. R u a pinay? from where? Excuse the curiosity, bcoz I am too. :-PEpzy 02:42, 16 October 2006 (UTC)

Amazingly, I was just working on the article when I received your message. I intend to revert portions of the last edit and post a message on the talk page explaining my reasonings. Thanks for telling me, though. --Ppk01 09:45, 30 October 2006 (UTC)
