Fair use rationale for Image:Indigoadult.jpg[edit]

Thanks for uploading Image:Indigoadult.jpg. The image description page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in Wikipedia articles constitutes fair use.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale.

If you have uploaded other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on those pages too. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that any fair use images lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.

This is an automated notice by OrphanBot. For assistance on the image use policy, see Wikipedia:Media copyright questions. 19:09, 14 September 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Please also refrain from making threats and attacks such as you did on the image summary. Thank you. JoshuaZ 00:56, 15 September 2006 (UTC)[reply]
Also, please see WP:3RR. If you want the image included please discuss it on the talk page. Furthermore, it seems highly likely that you and the recent anon IP editing the article and the image are the same user. If so please see WP:SOCK. Using multiple accounts to get around rules or provide an illusion of consensus is not acceptable. JoshuaZ 00:58, 15 September 2006 (UTC)[reply]
Please stop reinserting the image and discuss the matter at talk:Indigo children. JoshuaZ 01:09, 15 September 2006 (UTC)[reply]
Or you could explain to us in more detail what you mean by the image and why you think it should go there. We have talk pages for a reason. JoshuaZ 01:26, 15 September 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Sandbox[edit]

I've also taken the liberty of moving your sandbox out of article space to User:Mycats/Sandbox. JoshuaZ 01:01, 15 September 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Indigo Children/Adult[edit]

Howdy and welcome to Wikipedia! I wanted to let you know I took the liberty of moving your message to User:JoshuaZ from his userpage to his talk page. The former is a page which tells about him and what he does on Wikipedia, while the latter is a page for messages to and from him. I also removed your email address, although he will still be able to see it in the page history. Wikipedia is widely copied around on the web, and your email address would rapidly become very public. If you want to make it easier to communicate by email, put your email address in the preferences (click the preferences link at the top of your screen). Then you can send users email using the link Special:Emailuser/JoshuaZ (or others, by searching for Special:Emailuser/USERNAME), and recieve emails. Your email address is not made public, but will be seen by the recipent of any message you send via email.

Just as users have talk pages, articles also have talk pages. When edits are controversial, such as the inclusion of the image into the Indigo children article, it is best to discuss the matter on the talk page of the article. The talk page can be accessed by clicking the discussion tab at the top of the screen for any article. On talk pages, the common practice is to sign your posts with four tildes (~~~~). Let me know if I can be of any help (just write a note on the bottom of my talk page, User_talk:TeaDrinker). Thanks and again, welcome! --TeaDrinker 01:32, 15 September 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks for the note. Disucssions about editing articles are usually made on the talk page of the article, so as to keep them public. I have discussed my reasons for removing the image at Talk:Indigo_children#Image. I encourage you to reply there. --TeaDrinker 01:41, 15 September 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Please note that you are in violation of the three revert rule. If you continue to add the image to the article, you may be blocked from editing. I hope you will discuss the edit, rather than simply asserting it. Thanks, --TeaDrinker 01:43, 15 September 2006 (UTC)[reply]

You have been blocked for 24 hours for violation of WP:3RR. Vsmith 01:45, 15 September 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Continuing to revert the article as an anon is unacceptable and the anon IPs will be blocked as sockpuppets - see: WP:SOCK. Vsmith 02:14, 15 September 2006 (UTC)[reply]

The Indigo children page has been protected due to your IP reversions. After your block expires, please do not continue the edit warring - use the article talk page for discussion of your concerns. Please edit responsibly. Thanks, Vsmith 02:43, 15 September 2006 (UTC)[reply]

I have reverted your blanking of warnings from this page and extended the block to 48 hours because of that blanking and the use of IP socks to avoid the block. Vsmith 02:54, 15 September 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Image:Robseibertface001.jpg listed for deletion[edit]

An image or media file that you uploaded or altered, Image:Robseibertface001.jpg, has been listed at Wikipedia:Images and media for deletion. Please look there to see why this is (you may have to search for the title of the image to find its entry), if you are interested in it not being deleted. Thank you. — Nv8200p talk 04:10, 24 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]
