Actually, I did look at the history and decided that the most sensible enrolment number was yours and, despite my edit summary comment, I decided not to re-request the cite. Look closely at the change I made. Your reversion took away several Manual of Style corrections that I had made.

I truly appreciate your care and attention to this article. I'm sure you can imagine the kind of vandalism I've seen added to other school articles. I feel obligated, however, due to your comments to encourage you to be familiar with the policies and guidelines WP:OWN and WP:COI to ensure that your experiences here as an editor are as positively productive as possible. The Beaches

Hello. The issue is not how long you have lived in the Beaches or what you understand the boundaries to be - I am not questioning your assertions. The problem is this -- Wikipedia does not allow "original research" (e.g. what you know from your own personal experiences) (see the policy at WP:OR). This particular section of the article is constantly being vandalised and abused, with all sorts of questionable claims about how far the Beaches extends, so you can undertand that if you want your edits to stand you should make sure that they comply with Wikipedia policies. If you want to alter the description of the boundaries in this article, by all means do so (I encourage it!), but your edits must be consistent with the policy at WP:V -- in other words you need to provide reliable sources to back up the claims. For assistance with citing sources, please see Wikipedia:Citing sources. If the boundaries are clear, then you should not have a problem finding the necessary reliable source(s). Andy Curran

Under 'Notable Alumni' section on the De La Salle College (Toronto) page you keep adding back Andy Curran despite his lack of noteworthiness. His name is internally linked to a page concerning "Andrew Eltrincham "Andy" Curran (born 5 July 1898), an English professional footballer." This is clearly not the said graduate.

I refuse to accept Andy Curran as a suitable entry until he is noteworthy enough to deserve his own page, as it seems his addition is an advertising ploy. You are more than welcome to start his page at this link.Tradereddy (talk) 15:17, 18 May 2013 (UTC)

If you lived in Toronto, Canada (or anywhere in Ontario or Quebec) in the 1980s and 1990s, you would have been aware of a musician who had gained a level of notoriety in Canada at that time. While certainly his fame was short-lived, he is/was relatively well-known in these parts.

I also take objection to the fact that his lack of having "his own page" should deny his minor reference in an encyclopaedic entry. Wikipedia is to disseminate information as detailed as contributors will provide and it is with great exception that I refuse to accept YOUR sole judgment as arbiter of what should be listed on this schools site. The editing history will show that I have written a significant portion of this particular page as I have a tremendous knowledge of the school, its history and is alumni. My credibility in watching & editing this single page is unquestionable. Shame on you for ignoring what others wish to contribute to the Wik effort. Who are YOU to sanctimoniously judge his inclusion? (BTW, I am not Andy Curran nor have I met the man. I do remember seeing his concerts in the Greater Toronto Area in that time period along with thousands of other concert go-ers. Since Mr. Curran is no longer performing and is retired from this business, there is nothing to 'advertise' as you so smugly accused. After all, there was life before the internet and before Wik!)
