Taj Mahal aerial view[edit]
Well done on the fantastic pictures! I noticed that you've been editing pictures in Taj Mahal so wondered if you might be interested in this (repeated in its talk page):
I think there are too many whole-building photographs taken from ground level but too few (previously none) from the air, which better shows its 3D shape, including the relationship between the sizes of the minarets and the central structure. The one on the right is the only photo I could find in Commons, so I've added it. It's a shame that no higher resolution is available.
It also usefully shows the minaret tilting the most, according to http://www.newscientist.com/article/dn6629-concerns-over-tilting-taj-mahal-dismissed.html and so I've placed it under Threats.

Hi,
I saw that you are involved in resolving edit wars and so I thought I'd ask for your help. An editor and I are having a bit of a diagreement reqarding the infobox picture of Dar es Salaam. Previously, my image Dar es Salaam before dusk.jpg, a Featured Picture was being used after undergoing a tough selection process. Another editor changed this to his image which is of considerable low resolution, image quality and composition. I reverted this and placed a note on the talk page asking for discussion before changes but but my revert was reverted without any. What do you suggest? --Muhammad(talk) 15:45, 2 January 2013 (UTC)

A lot of articles can stand with a bit of image rationalization - check what's available, then make sure that the article reflects the best of what's there, in a good variety, without overloading with the same type of image, so I try to do it when I can. Thanks for introducing me to focus stacking. I was looking at File:Canon EF-S 18-55mm.jpg and wondering if it is a single shot or the result of focus stacking. The depth of field and evenness of the lighting are quite admirable. Is there a reason why you have not nominated that image at WP:FPC. Adobe RGB[edit]
I see you are using AdobeRGB colourspace for your recent photographs. This is a very bad idea for JPGs on the internet. The standard is sRGB for web images. Few browsers are colourspace-aware so will render the colours wrongly because they assume sRGB. Of the few browers than can be set to be colourspace-aware, they use a naive nearest-colour method for converting to the colourspace of the users's monitor. This results in colour banding on gradients. Photoshop/lightroom are better in this regard because they dither, but few people use them as an image-viewer. I assume your edit to David's pic was done from the raw file? I can explain more if you want.. Colin°Talk 19:31, 6 July 2013 (UTC)

Hey Muhammad, I want to make a shortmovie about big cities in Africa. File permission problem with File:Lankarani.jpg[edit]
