Your experience with Adopt-a-user

Hello MrScorch6200,

I am working on a project to support the development of current and future newcomer mentorship programs on Wikipedia.

Because you recently participated in Adopt-a-user, I would like to interview you about your experience in this program.

If you are interested, please email me at gmugar [at] syr.edu and hopefully we can find a convenient time to conduct an interview via Skype or Google hangout.

Thanks,

Deletion of my recent upload

Hi there

I am new to wikipedia therfore I am not fully clued up with wikipedia rules and regulations. In regards to my recent post about myself and cricket, please could you kindly advise what I need to do to have this re-instated. Can my cricket club website act as a reference?? It has all my stats and shows I am an active player in the UK.

A barnstar for you!

The Original Barnstar
Hi MrScorch6200,

Although I've used it for 8 or so yeas, I finally joined Wikipedia. I have a fair amount to contribute in the area of action sports and especially BMX. I ran a BMX website for 12 years so I'm well versed in writing and editing. I'd like to ask if you could adopt me. I couldn't find another way to contact you so I figured you would see this.

Thanks! Psychicflyingmonkey (talk) 16:21, 29 September 2014 (UTC)

@Psychicflyingmonkey: Hi! I'm not home at the moment but when I get back tomorrow I will gladly adopt you. I'll set you up on my Adoption HQ etc. I hope you have fun! MrScorch6200 (talk | ctrb) 02:35, 1 October 2014 (UTC)
