If you would like, try looking for a mentor who can help you learn the ins and outs of the site.

A tag has been placed on Diamond Run Mall requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia, because it appears to be a repost of material that was previously deleted following a deletion discussion. If you can indicate how it is different from the previously posted material, place the template {{hangon}} underneath the other template on the article and put a note on the page's discussion page saying why this article should stay. Administrators will look at your reasoning before deciding what to do with the page. If you believe the original discussion was unjustified, please contact the administrator who deleted the page or use deletion review instead of continuing to recreate the page. Thank you. • Gene93k (talk) 20:59, 1 May 2009 (UTC)

I hope this helps!

The article you created was just deleted?

The article you created was just deleted?
All is not lost. Here is what you can do right now:

Many administrators will be happy to give you a copy of your deleted article, either by putting it on a special user page for you (a process called userfication) or by e-mailing you a copy.

Once you have the article, you can try to resolve the issues why it was deleted.

If you've repaired the article, or you believe the reasons for deleting the article were in error, you can dispute the deletion at Deletion Review. Generally, you must show how the previous deletion(s) were in error, but this is the place to resolve disputes about whether a deletion was wrong.

Consider userfying this article, then working on it. Ikip (talk) 03:21, 17 May 2009 (UTC)

Truman's middle initial

Please stop moving articles and removing periods from Harry S. Truman. You have posted on Truman's article talk page, where editors replying disagree with your change. Your edits do not reflect consensus, and as such have been reverted. Rambo's Revenge (talk) 16:29, 12 May 2009 (UTC)

WELCOME

Hi, Mr. Prez, welcome to the Article Rescue Squadron! We are a growing community of Wikipedia editors dedicated to identifying and rescuing articles that have been tagged for deletion. Every day hundreds of articles are deleted, many rightfully so. But many concern notable subjects and are poorly written, ergo fixable and should not be deleted. We try to help these articles quickly improve and address the concerns of why they are proposed for deletion. This covers a lot of ground and your help is appreciated!

If you have any questions, feel free to ask on the talk page, and we will be happy to help you.

And once again - Welcome! Ikip (talk) 03:19, 17 May 2009 (UTC)

Welcome to the project. If you have any question at all, or need any assistance building or referencing articles, please post a question at WT:ARS. You are lucky to have learned about the project as a new wikipedian. It took me two years to find the project, and I wish I would have had the help and assistance that those dedicate editors provide. Ikip (talk) 03:19, 17 May 2009 (UTC)

We are currently developing a help page for new editors. Wikipedia:Article Rescue Squadron/How to you can edit this as you wish.
What you do is search for references. start by using:
{{findsources3|ARTICLE NAME}}
...replacing ARTICLE NAME with the name of the article. You then add those sources to the article. I would suggest adding the cite button to your wikipedia toolbar User:Ikip/ref, although it is not necessary.
You can also search through WP:AFDT and tag articles with {{rescue}} you feel are worthy of incusion in Wikipedia. Granted, a lot of the articles up for deletion deserve to be deleted, but some really good subjects, with potentional sometimes get deleted.Ikip (talk) 15:57, 19 May 2009 (UTC)

A tag has been placed on Pizza Put requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done because the article, which appears to be about a real person, organization (band, club, company, etc.), or web content, does not indicate how or why the subject is notable: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, articles that do not indicate the subject's importance or significance may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable. If this is the first page that you have created, then you should read the guide to writing your first article.

If you think that you can assert the notability of the subject, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}} to the top of the article (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the article's talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the article meets the criterion it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would confirm the subject's notability under Wikipedia guidelines.

For guidelines on specific types of articles, you may want to check out our criteria for biographies, for web sites, for bands, or for companies. Feel free to leave a note on my talk page if you have any questions about this. Eeekster (talk) 20:29, 23 May 2009 (UTC)

Proposed deletion of Cool Berry Flummery

A proposed deletion template has been added to the article Cool Berry Flummery, suggesting that it be deleted according to the proposed deletion process because of the following concern:

No actual description of this dessert, just irrelevant trivia about who liked it.

All contributions are appreciated, but this article may not satisfy Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and the deletion notice should explain why (see also "What Wikipedia is not" and Wikipedia's deletion policy). You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{dated prod}} notice, but please explain why you disagree with the proposed deletion in your edit summary or on its talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised because, even though removing the deletion notice will prevent deletion through the proposed deletion process, the article may still be deleted if it matches any of the speedy deletion criteria or it can be sent to Articles for Deletion, where it may be deleted if consensus to delete is reached.  Blanchardb -MeMyEarsMyMouth- timed 23:02, 25 May 2009 (UTC)

A tag has been placed on Maniax Restaurant requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a company or corporation, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable, as well as our subject-specific notability guideline for companies and corporations.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}} to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the page that would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Lastly, please note that if the page does get deleted, you can contact one of these admins to request that they userfy the page or have a copy emailed to you. Cxz111 (talk) 21:03, 29 May 2009 (UTC)

Your edits to Gerald Ford

I have reverted your edits of 11 May and 17 May, which changed his name from Gerald Rudolph Ford, Jr. to Gerald Rudolff Ford. This is contrary to his official Congressional biography – what is the basis for your making these changes? Also, please use the edit summary to explain your edits. Thank you.  JGHowes  talk 21:09, 6 June 2009 (UTC)

Paul Blart: Mall Cop

Where'd you get the idea that Paul Blart didn't have a colon in it? Every major website seems to disagree. [1] [2] [3] (official website) [4]. There's no colon on the poster, but the title always has a colon when written. Klubbit (talk) 21:08, 11 June 2009 (UTC)
