Antibiotic resistance[edit]

Hi! Just noticed that you reverted my edit to the Antibiotic resistance page. Your only explanation of this is "Restored deleted referenced material" in the edit description. My edit was, as I mentioned on the talk page, because the reference in the text did not agree with the content. In fact, the referenced source implied the exact opposite from what was written in the article. I've put my change back in but if you have more detailed reasons for reverting my edit, let's discuss them.

Thanks, Zchahe7 (talk) 14:43, 20 July 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks for replying. I've put a few papers on the antibiotic resistance talk page, and was wondering whether you would have a look at them? I can see the contradictory sections of that powerpoint, but it appears that the author was arguing against the idea that non-compliance causes resistance. Or so most of the papers he references say. Hard to know exactly what he was saying as it's obviously meant to be accompanied by speech, but I've gone into more detail on the article talk page.

Notice

The article Java hashCode() has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

Individual Java methods are not encyclopedic content. This topic is certainly covered in a number of sources; however, this coverage is in a sense routine. Every single built-in function in the language is thoroughly described in documentation and reference books. Yet this does not make then notable enough for an article. Further, this article is a concerning mix of information on general hash functions and their usage with Java-specific details. The former is more appropriate to cover in the hash function article, and the later is best left to the Java documentation.

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the page to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion.
