Thanks!

I am really admiring your work at the Sea Games 2017 and I would learn more about managing an article more from you. I've been adding and editing acts on vandalism on the article and looking for citations, however I find this to be very difficult while you're really great at this! Anyway thanks, looking forward from you! EdLeo99 (talk) 21:34, 23 August 2017 (UTC)

@EdLeo99: Hello Ed and welcome to Wikipedia! I see you are a new editor here. Indeed, learning Wikipedia takes time but I believe you can do like that too. Most popular articles will become a target for vandalism but don't worry as there will be someone will fix that. Anyway, sorry if replying your message late because I am busy working in the reality life too. I will frequently patrol the article whenever I have free time. ^^ Molecule Extraction (talk) 05:00, 24 August 2017 (UTC)

No problem for the late reply, I am really happy to receive any replies since I usually got ignored. I took some time to improve my English since 2 years ago I wasn't sufficient enough, thus the 2 year gap. If I would ask one question, how do you see my work now and what should I do to improve it? Vandalism template sure helps lol. Anyway thanks a lot for having me!^^ EdLeo99 (talk) 15:28, 24 August 2017 (UTC)

@EdLeo99: Hee It's okay because there is other editors who will update that. Don't worry, my English are not really perfect too . Err, btw which work do you mean? I didn't see any articles created by you yet. No problem, I am happy to have someone to talk with too. ^^ Molecule Extraction (talk) 16:09, 24 August 2017 (UTC)

I did try to update the template however it didn't change in the article... Is there any way to fix it? As for works, what I mean is about the edits I've done so far Really glad that I could make friends with you and such a shame really there's a lot of vandalism although it is fixed now haha EdLeo99 (talk) 13:25, 25 August 2017 (UTC)

@EdLeo99: That is probably a server issue. Usually I will click the "edit button" in the article and saving it although I did not make any changes on the article (simply like refreshing the article). It works for me everytime and other users will also see the update. ^^ I think it's fine as you are still learning. By the way, just re-check the article of 2017 Southeast Asian Games history and seems there is no vandalism yet there. But don't worry because there is lots of patrollers here. They can report the article for protection and return to its stable version. Molecule Extraction (talk) 15:02, 25 August 2017 (UTC)

Oh, but does you can use a method to change the png to svg as you do on commons. Anyway thank you and you really do a good job. City council emblems

Hey there. Thanks for uploading the emblems for Ipoh and Iskandar Puteri. Could you also upload the emblems for Petaling Jaya and Alor Setar? There are no such emblems in Commons at the moment, and I was once prevented from using Wikipedia's local versions of these emblems due to some copyright issues. Thanks. Vnonymous (talk) 23:36, 20 December 2017 (UTC)

Sure. Also, regarding the svg versions of the Penang, Greater Penang and Iskandar Malaysia maps, the grey borders can be thinner, IMHO. Is it possible to reduce the thickness of the grey boundaries (to the thickness of the natural river boundaries in light blue)? Thanks again. Vnonymous (talk) 23:48, 20 December 2017 (UTC)

And I forget to tell you that GERAKAN Logo was established with its party at 1968 (March), that means the logo will be PD-Malaysia sooner.Maybe you can do it during election angys (Talk Talk) 10:29, 27 December 2017 (UTC

Anyway thank you, maybe you can do it when you free. angys (Talk Talk) 07:49, 28 December 2017 (UTC)

Maybe you can refer to Districts of Sri Lanka, List of districts of Bangladesh and List of rail transit stations in the Klang Valley area, all there is multiply state name and not merge into one. If you merge the infobox, there will be many blank when you click the other sorting option. For the East Malaysia you can add back the state one but not merging at 1. angys (Talk Talk) 13:21, 17 January 2018 (UTC) OK,you can do the “state” bar unsortable. I have other thing to do thus you can do for it. Next time kindly discuss with me before do revert. angys (Talk Talk) 13:36, 17 January 2018 (UTC)

Actually I had experience many time revert by User:Vnonymous. (Haha I lose everytime, you can see this). Next time when you do for that better inform me. angys (Talk Talk) 14:22, 17 January 2018 (UTC)

Since we have List of cities and towns in Malaysia by population, maybe you can create List of districts in Malaysia by population for sorting and listing. I have a suggestion that DOM can modify according List of cities in Malaysia angys (Talk Talk) 14:26, 17 January 2018 (UTC)

Yes, I am from Penang. And I think the DOM can be more expand and not just a little description. So I moved that page and one for general while another for population and metropolitan. Since you follow WP:MOSFLAGS rules, I suggest you go to format list of city page, but I dont sure your edit will be revert or not. angys (Talk Talk) 15:23, 17 January 2018 (UTC)

I have correct some of the missing district and double PBT. Feel freeto copy paste the population according the Sarawak website. angys (Talk Talk) 12:07, 19 January 2018 (UTC)

SPI

With regards to this edit, when opening an SPI on a user it is not mandatory to inform them on their talkpage. See Wikipedia:Sockpuppet investigations/SPI/Guide to filing cases. On this occasion I had decided not to notify them of the SPI. No harm really done by you leaving that note, but I just wanted to make you aware that for SPI, unlike most other processes, notification is not mandatory, and in fact is sometimes sub-optimal. Many users do not realise that this is the case. Cheers. -- Begoon 07:44, 23 February 2018 (UTC)

@Begoon: Sorry about that. Actually the notice was sent automatically when I want to start filed a report using Twinkle, only to realise that you have report him much early. Molecule Extraction (talk) 07:50, 23 February 2018 (UTC)
As I said, it's not a problem. Twinkle has a "notify reported users?" checkbox, (which it sometimes pre-ticks I think), but you can un-check that box if you don't want to notify. -- Begoon 07:58, 23 February 2018 (UTC)
@Begoon: Glad then. Yes, everytime when I want to filed a report I wish to un-check the box. But when I read the list of cases in the SPI, there are this some admins that asked a user to notify the involved users first before making up a report. Molecule Extraction (talk) 08:05, 23 February 2018 (UTC)
There would be circumstances where it would be best to notify, and circumstances where it wouldn't. Like most things here, if you ask 3 wikipedians you'll get 4 opinions... In this case it's no big deal but sometimes you don't want to notify because the knowledge of the investigation could itself cause unwanted behaviour, or for other reasons. As the guide page I linked says, it's a matter of judgement. -- Begoon 09:40, 23 February 2018 (UTC)
Noted that. Thank you. Molecule Extraction (talk) 09:52, 23 February 2018 (UTC)
  • Please don't tag user pages with the {{sockpuppet}} template before an investigation has concluded. If you're wrong, this is a personal attack. Thanks. Ivanvector (Talk/Edits) 22:33, 27 February 2018 (UTC)
@Ivanvector: Again my apologies for that and thanks for the further action taken against the involved user. Molecule Extraction (talk) 22:52, 27 February 2018 (UTC)

Sarawak reversion

I edit conflicted with you on that reversion. Good catch. It looks like an attempt at some low level vandalism. Not to mention changing the Chinese demography chart to have that ethnicity coloured red is an obvious jab. Blackmane (talk) 22:59, 24 March 2018 (UTC)

Malaysian Names

Dude. I am Malaysian. I know how these names work whether the person is Malay, Malaysian-Chinese, Malaysian-Indian or Bornean. I know how this works. - Larcombe (talk) 13:05, 3 April 2018 (UTC)

In Malaysian football, unless a player is given two other names alongside their Muslim name (i.e. Mohammad, Abdul, Abu etc.), a player will either use his second given name or his or her's father's name on their shirt. Unless they specifically request to be called Muslim Name then Given Name. - Larcombe (talk) 15:36, 3 April 2018 (UTC)

Moving Page

Hello, I remember you from this incident a few months ago. Thank you for the reversion of the move.

The same user had recently moved a few pages involving Malaysian footballers such as Wan Zack Haikal to Zack Haikal and Wan Zaharulnizam Zakaria to Zaharul Zakaria which ignores WP:MOSMALAYSIA. My previous discussion with the user regarding the Kuala Lumpur FA page makes me believe that the user does not understand the concept of manual of style even when I pointed it out to him as you can see here and here. I hope you can help to do something regarding this user's actions. Froswo (talk) 16:10, 4 April 2018 (UTC)

@Froswo: Hi, you are welcome. Yes, that is the problem. Currently I'm also still discussing the matter with him and waiting his response on my question, but today it seems that he didn't online at all. I will wait for him and if he still proceed with that controversial move and action without responding, then maybe we have no other choice than to take action and reporting to administrator. Original Research was not done

Good evening. The changes made to the page 'Malaysia' with regards to ethnic groups and religion was based on the last Population and Housing Census in the year 2010. A citation was given when making the changes. Thank you. Praveenpuva (talk) 13:29, 7 June 2018 (UTC)

@Praveenpuva: Good morning. The original research that I actually mean there is about this recent edit with percentage change of (67.4% to Bumiputera, 24.6% to Chinese, 7.3% to Indian and 0.7% to other) with this source. I did not see anything mentioning on the percentage through the document you provided that was actually a Federal Constitution Act. The one that actually mentioning on the population percentage is from the CIA Factbook which you unexplainly removed. Molecule Extraction (talk) 20:44, 7 June 2018 (UTC)

Good morning. I apologize for the wrongly attached citation. Thank you for pointing out the mistake. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Praveenpuva (talkcontribs) 21:21, 7 June 2018 (UTC)

Edit request

I would like to request for your help to edit the map in File:Malaysia election results map 2018.svg. I noticed a few mistakes in the image regarding the constituencies of Kalabakan in Sabah, Saratok in Sarawak and Sabak Bernam in Selangor. The first two is shown as a BN constituency in the map, whereas PH won it in the election, while the latter is presented as a PH constituency when it was actually won by BN. I'm not an expert in editing maps or of the sort, so I hope you could help in sorting out the problem. You could use this website to help assist you. -- Hewkiivorox 04:18, 15 May 2018 (UTC)

@Hewkiivorox:  Done. Thanks for reporting! I use the map produced by The Star instead as a reference since it is more complete. Molecule Extraction (talk) 11:10, 15 May 2018 (UTC)
@Molecule Extraction: Thank you very much! I'm very grateful for this. However, though, I noticed the issue with Sabak Bernam still hasn't been resolved. It's the northern-most constituency in Selangor, by the way. Currently, as I stated above, it is shown that PH won there when BN actually won. With this problem resolved, I believe there won't be any more inaccuracies in the map, I hope. And again, thank you! -- Hewkiivorox 01:26, 16 May 2018 (UTC)
@Hewkiivorox: You're welcome. Everything is done now. 555. I thought it is already fixed when I mistakenly seeing Tanjong Karang as Sabak Bernam. Molecule Extraction (talk) 02:25, 16 May 2018 (UTC)
@Molecule Extraction: Yeah, I also just realised I accidentally wrote Sabak Bernam as Tanjong Karang, hahaha. Again, I'm very grateful for your efforts. Great to see the map is clear of inaccuracies. -- Hewkiivorox 18:26, 16 May 2018 (UTC)

I think you can adjust for the parliamentary map with deep and shallow colour. You can see this file angys (Talk Talk) 07:48, 19 May 2018 (UTC) Yaaa but there seems to ignore Malaysia's map, Perak still hang there and Selangor already archive, meanwhile Kuala Lumpur no respone. Feel free to do it, its OK for late. angys (Talk Talk) 13:27, 19 May 2018 (UTC)

Yes, thank you and your work are really appreciated for the parliamentary map. BTW, I think Sandakan colour are more deeper then Tawau, just this error only. tq (PS:Most Klang Valley and Penang area are reddish compare to interior region) angys (Talk Talk) 09:18, 6 June 2018 (UTC)

I recently found that Liew Chin Jin @ Christina Hadikusumo=Christina Liew and she contest in Tawau (as BN), Gaya and KK but never win until 2018. angys (Talk Talk) 06:42, 16 June 2018 (UTC)
@*angys*: Sorry for the late reply, so busy watching this year World Cup. Do you have a source for that? Molecule Extraction (talk) 01:52, 17 June 2018 (UTC)
But in Chinese,[https://m.malaysiakini.com/letters/228342

this one] is for Liew when in Api-Api said that she started contest since 1986 around Gaya, Sandakan and Tawau. Another one said that Liew maybe an Indonesian and not Hong Kong as her name has Indonesia name (upside Liew Chin Jin @ Christina Hadikusumo), probably impact from IC project. angys (Talk Talk) 03:53, 17 June 2018 (UTC)

@*angys*: However, based on this source she already deny the allegation and said that “she was born in British Hong Kong where her parents come from”. Molecule Extraction (talk) 07:05, 17 June 2018 (UTC)
I knew, but Liew Chin Jin @ Christina Hadikusumo is Christina Liew, you can find it in Gaya, Kota Kinabalu and Tawau. angys (Talk Talk) 07:10, 17 June 2018 (UTC)
@*angys*: Sorry for the late reply again and thanks for the tip-off. I have put more information to the article. Wow and I just realised she is actually a former member of United Sabah Party (PBS) and Malaysian Chinese Association (MCA) too after reading her political journey here. BTW, can you help me to find any news that stating her birth date since until now I can't even find one. Molecule Extraction (talk) 05:50, 21 June 2018 (UTC)

26 + 8 + 6 +11 + 6 + 2 + 1 = 60. And one thing, the Nabawan MP still support BN and doesnt support Warisan. You should do a table like thsi for Sabah assembly because they are so many ppl breaking away from the Sabah Barisan Nasional and I was confused about that... angys (Talk Talk) 08:15, 21 June 2018 (UTC)
