September 2015[edit]

Information icon Hello, I'm Ronz. I wanted to let you know that I undid one or more of your recent contributions to Coworking because they appeared to be promotional. Advertising and using Wikipedia as a "soapbox" are against Wikipedia policy and not permitted. Take a look at the welcome page to learn more about Wikipedia. Thank you.

Note that Cosabella needs a rewrite to address similar problems.--Ronz (talk) 19:39, 17 September 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Hello Ronz - I am pretty new to editing on Wikipedia and am still trying to completely learn the ropes and get all of the rules straight so I can contribute meaningfully to the Wikipedia community. The intention was not to be promotional but add an industry term to the Coworking page. For Cosabella I thoroughly read the pages of other lingerie brands on Wikipedia and felt it was as internationally well known (if not more so) and merited a page of its own, trying to follow their outline for a page as it is a well-established brand. If you have any suggestions for how to make the page more encyclopedic in nature please let me know - like I said, still learning! --Mochee (talk) 14:42, 29 September 2015 (UTC)[reply]
Hi Mochee. Thanks for the response.
Take your time learning your way around. Neither article is contentious, so take your time.
I've not looked at other lingerie articles. If they are as bad as you're indicating, then there's a huge amount of work to do. Instead of looking at them, look at good articles.
I'll give you a detailed welcome that might help. --Ronz (talk) 15:03, 29 September 2015 (UTC)[reply]

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on Cosabella, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G11 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page seems to be unambiguous advertising which only promotes a company, product, group, service or person and would need to be fundamentally rewritten in order to become encyclopedic. Please read the guidelines on spam and Wikipedia:FAQ/Organizations for more information.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator.
