A tag has been placed on Peter A. Hancock, D.Sc., Ph.D. requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. Problems with upload of File:Humanperfandergo.jpg[edit]

Thanks for uploading File:Humanperfandergo.jpg. You don't seem to have said where the image came from, who created it, or what the copyright status is. We require this information to verify that the image is legally usable on Wikipedia, and because most image licenses require giving credit to the image's creator.

More information needed about File:PHancock.jpg[edit]

It was really helpful of you to you to upload File:PHancock.jpg. However, we need to properly format the image license information in order to keep and use new images.

Advice[edit]

Please listen to the comments people leave on your talk page. Recreating the same page after deletion is not wise. If you want to write about Peter Hancock do it in your own words, don't copy text from other websites, and use reliable sources like newspapers, magazines and books that are independent of Dr Hancock to verify the content and show that he is suitable for inclusion in Wikipedia according to our guidelines. Wikipedia cannot accept text and images that are copyright elsewhere. Please read WP:COPYVIO for more details. As you seem intent on promoting Peter Hancock, I would assume that you have a close connection to him. I would, therefore, also ask you to read WP:COI about conflict of interest. Wikipedia is a place where anyone (well, almost - there are those who are banned...) can edit. This does not mean that there are no rules.
