January 2010[edit]

Welcome to Wikipedia. Everyone is welcome to make constructive contributions to Wikipedia, but at least one of your recent edits, such as the one you made to Cavapoo, did not appear to be constructive and has been automatically reverted by ClueBot.

  • Please use the sandbox for any test edits you would like to make, and take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia. Note that human editors do monitor recent changes to Wikipedia articles, and administrators have the ability to block users from editing if they repeatedly engage in vandalism.
  • Cluebot produces very few false positives, but it does happen. If you believe the change you made should not have been detected as unconstructive, please report it here, remove this warning from your talk page, and then make the edit again.
  • The following is the log entry regarding this warning: Cavapoo was changed by Mikko raikkonen (u) (t) blanking the page on 2010-01-18T23:34:04+00:00 . Thank you. ClueBot (talk) 23:34, 18 January 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Welcome to Wikipedia. Everyone is welcome to make constructive contributions to Wikipedia, but at least one of your recent edits, such as the one you made to Trackball, did not appear to be constructive and has been automatically reverted by ClueBot.

Please refrain from making unconstructive edits to Wikipedia, as you did to Angle of incidence. Your edits have been automatically marked as unconstructive/possible vandalism and have been automatically reverted. If you would like to experiment, please use the sandbox. If you believe there has been a mistake and would like to report a false positive, please report it here and then remove this warning from your talk page. If your edit was not vandalism, please feel free to make your edit again after reporting it. The following is the log entry regarding this warning: Angle of incidence was changed by Mikko raikkonen (u) (t) blanking the page on 2010-03-04T02:48:01+00:00 . Thank you. Please do not vandalize pages, as you did with this edit to Angle of incidence. If you continue to do so, you will be blocked from editing. Manway (talk) 02:52, 4 March 2010 (UTC)[reply]

March 2010[edit]

You're just asking to be blocked, Mikko. We're happy to oblige. -- Jack of Oz ... speak! ... 08:07, 18 March 2010 (UTC)[reply]

You have been blocked indefinitely from editing because your account is being used only for vandalism. If you believe this block is unjustified, you may contest this block by adding the text Your reason here below, but you should read our guide to appealing blocks first.

Request reason:

I am very sorry for causing this inconvenience. The edit i made to John Howards page was just a joke and if unblocked I will not do any unconstructive edits. As for the other vandalisms, I was experimenting with Wikipedias anti vandalism technology as part of an assignment. P.S in my electorate, the general consensus is that John Howard is a retard and some other things I won't mention.

Decline reason:

I was considering unblocking until I got to that last sentence. --jpgordon::==( o ) 06:56, 23 March 2010 (UTC)[reply]

If you want to make any further unblock requests, please read the guide to appealing blocks first, then use the unblock template again. If you make too many unconvincing or disruptive unblock requests, you may be prevented from editing this page until your block has expired. Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.

Request reason:

That last sentence was my personal view. It does not mean I will change the article title or any part of the article like that again. i was just giving you some background information. Sorry for the misunderstanding.

Decline reason:

From looking at your edits, it appears to me that you do not have the maturity required to edit Wikipedia constructively.  Sandstein  10:03, 23 March 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Request reason:

Okay sure I have made a few "vandalism's" as part of an assignment. But still i have also made small contributive edits as well. Eg Tourist Trophy was listed twice so i got rid of one. I have already told you that I will not spam or vandalize pages anymore. How else can I prove my Maturity?

Decline reason:

You vandalised as part of an assignment? This, in addition to your previous unblock requests and editing history, is dissuading me from unblocking you. I don't think you are here to help construct an encyclopedia... Taelus (talk) 11:49, 23 March 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Request reason:

I did not make an account to go to random pages and check every single detail. I made an account so that I could make edits, share info with other members and maybe even get promoted to an admin. Now I know that I will not get the last one, however, it is still possible for me to help contribute to Wikipedia. As for the assignment, if you want a copy then I will give you one.

Decline reason:

This unblock request has been declined due to your history of vandalism and/or disruption to this encyclopedia. However, we are willing to give you another chance provided that you can earn back the trust of the Wikipedia community. To be unblocked you need to demonstrate that you are willing and able to contribute positively to Wikipedia. You can do this by:

  1. Click the Edit tab at the top of that article;
  2. Copy the portion of the prose from that article that you will be proposing changes to. However:
     • do not copy the "infobox" from the start of the article (i.e., markup like this: ...);
     • do not copy any image placement code (i.e., markup like this: );
     • do not copy the page's categories from the bottom of the page (i.e., markup like this: );
     • do not copy the stub tag (if there) from the bottom of the page (i.e., markup like this: Foo stub);
  3. Click edit at your talk page, and paste at the bottom under a new section header (like this: == Article title ==) the copied content but do not save yet;
  4. Place your cursor in the edit summary box and paste there an edit summary in the following form which specifies the name of the article you copied from and links to it (this is required for mandatory copyright attribution): "Copied content from exact Name of Article; see that article's history for attribution."
  5. You can now save the page. However, if your edits will include citations to reliable sources (which they should), place at the end of the prose you copied this template reflist-talk and then save.
  • Now, edit that content to propose significant and well researched improvements by editing the selected portion of the article. Please note that we are not looking for basic typo corrections, or small unreferenced additions; your edits should be substantial, and reflect relevant policies.
  • When you are done with your work, re-request unblocking and an administrator will review your proposed edits.
    • If we (including the original blocking admin) are convinced that your proposed edits will improve Wikipedia as an encyclopedia, you will be unblocked.

If you need help while working with your proposed edits, you may add "your question here ~~~~" to your talk page. Thank you. Beeblebrox (talk) 19:07, 25 March 2010 (UTC)[reply]
