Speedy deletion nomination of Living Dead (album)[edit]

Hello Mikehistory,

I wanted to let you know that I just tagged Living Dead (album) for deletion, because the article doesn't clearly say why the subject is significant enough to be included in an encyclopedia, and the artist doesn't have an article.

If you feel that the article shouldn't be deleted and want more time to work on it, you can contest this deletion, but please don't remove the speedy deletion tag from the top.

You can leave a note on my talk page if you have questions. Tritario (talk) 14:29, 19 March 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Hello, and welcome to Wikipedia. This is a notice to inform you that a tag has been placed on Zombie Apocalypse Album requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A3 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because it is an article with no content whatsoever, or whose contents consist only of external links, a "See also" section, book references, category tags, template tags, interwiki links, images, a rephrasing of the title, or an attempt to contact the subject of the article. Please see Wikipedia:Stub for our minimum information standards for short articles. Also please note that articles must be on notable subjects and should provide references to reliable sources that verify their content.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Click here to contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, you can place a request here. Jinkinson talk to me 22:57, 1 April 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Why did you do it? There was no need for it. Clarityfiend (talk) 01:43, 7 April 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Speedy deletion nomination of The Ghost Of The Red Baron[edit]

Hello Mikehistory,

I wanted to let you know that I just tagged The Ghost Of The Red Baron for deletion, because it seems to be promotional, rather than an encyclopedia article.

If you feel that the article shouldn't be deleted and want more time to work on it, you can contest this deletion, but please don't remove the speedy deletion tag from the top.

You can leave a note on my talk page if you have questions. TheMesquitobuzz 00:59, 3 May 2014 (UTC)[reply]

A tag has been placed on A Clue For Scooby Doo requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G12 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article or image appears to be a clear copyright infringement. This article or image appears to be a direct copy from http://scoobydoo.wikia.com/wiki/A_Clue_For_Scooby_Doo. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images borrowed from other web sites or printed material, and as a consequence, your addition will most likely be deleted. You may use external websites as a source of information, but not as a source of sentences. This part is crucial: say it in your own words. Wikipedia takes copyright violations very seriously and persistent violators will be blocked from editing.

If the external website or image belongs to you, and you want to allow Wikipedia to use the text or image — which means allowing other people to modify it — then you must verify that externally by one of the processes explained at Wikipedia:Donating copyrighted materials. If you are not the owner of the external website or image but have permission from that owner, see Wikipedia:Requesting copyright permission. You might want to look at Wikipedia's policies and guidelines for more details, or ask a question here.

• Please be aware that you can't just cut/paste from other websites regardless of where you get it from. There are also issues with notability, as individual episodes do not gain automatic notability from being an episode of a popular show. Tokyogirl79 (。◕‿◕。) 04:25, 3 May 2014 (UTC)[reply]
  • I've ended up just redirecting it, but again- it's really considered to be inappropriate to cut/paste from anywhere. The problem with this is that even if the other place gives it up as fair use, you have several issues to worry about: first is notability, which again- notability is not inherited by the notability of the overall show. You have to show notability for each episode individually by way of showing sources that talk about the specific episode in-depth. This is usually done by way of reviews, but can be stuff such as articles or books that specifically highlight the episode. Routine episode guides don't really count towards this. The second issue is that in most cases the content will have issues with tone, especially when things are taken from a fan wikia. This means that things can sound promotional because they're written from a fan's point of view, or the article as a whole can just sound a little too casual for a Wikipedia article. Plus you're always going to have people tagging it for copyvio, so it's generally easier to just re-write everything for Wikipedia. Tokyogirl79 (。◕‿◕。) 04:46, 3 May 2014 (UTC)[reply]

This is an automated message from CorenSearchBot. I have performed a web search with the contents of Pistola con Caricato revolver, and it appears to include material copied directly from http://alwaysgiz.blogspot.com/2012/05/triple-barrel-18-shot-pistola-con.html.

It is possible that the bot is confused and found similarity where none actually exists. If that is the case, you can remove the tag from the article. The article will be reviewed to determine if there are any copyright issues.

If substantial content is duplicated and it is not public domain or available under a compatible license, it will be deleted. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images borrowed from other web sites or printed material. You may use such publications as a source of information, but not as a source of sentences. See our copyright policy for further details. (If you own the copyright to the previously published content and wish to donate it, see Wikipedia:Donating copyrighted materials for the procedure.) The article The Flaming Crisis (1924 Film) has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

"Article" is an infobox with half a sentence of running text. I suppose this is a mistake, so feel free to remove this PROD when the article is filled in.

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. Japan[edit]

Please do not insert falsehoods into Japan: it is definitely not in southeast Asia, and is to the east of Russia (Primorsky Krai to be exact). Acroterion (talk) 14:51, 20 October 2014 (UTC)[reply]
