Re: History on Mac mini[edit]

Thanks for contacting me regarding the article Mac Mini. I did not realize a "move" tool existed. The thing about the capitalized "M" was that on both the iPod Touch and iPod Nano articles, the "T" and "N" are capitalized, respectively. Both articles include in parentheses...

(Marketed as iPod ....)

Where "..." would be touch or nano respectively.

Again, I apologize for my ignorance and was wondering if moving the contents manually back to Mac mini and then using the move tool fix the mistake? Thanks again for contacting me...

Hi there. Thanks for your answer. I don't really agree with the rationale behind the renaming, but as I have little experience here on the English Wikipedia, I'm not going to push my point of view. The (more technical) history-thing can be simply solved by taking the last version of the article at the old location and using the move-button there. This will set the article back in time a bit, so the last edits (on the new location) won't be added. If you would be so kind as to add the relevant edits after moving the article.
By the way... As a courtesy to other editors, it is a Wikipedia guideline to sign your posts on talk pages, user talk pages, and WikiProject pages. To do so, simply add four tildes (~~~~) at the end of your comments. Your user name or IP address (if you are not logged in) and the date will then be automatically added along with a timestamp when you save your comment. Signing your comments helps people to find out who said something and provides them with a link to your user/talk page (for further discussion). For further info, read Wikipedia:Talk page guidelines. Thank you.
