Speedy deletion nomination of Josh Balz[edit]

Hello Michael entity99,

I wanted to let you know that I just tagged Josh Balz for deletion, because the article doesn't clearly say why the subject is important enough to be included in an encyclopedia.

If you feel that the article shouldn't be deleted and want more time to work on it, you can contest this deletion, but please don't remove the speedy deletion tag from the top.

You can leave a note on my talk page if you have questions.  SmileBlueJay97  talk  20:26, 13 September 2014 (UTC)[reply]

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on ''Party in the Graveyard'' requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A9 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a musical recording which does not indicate why its subject is important or significant, and where the artist's article has never existed, has been deleted or is eligible for deletion itself. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable, as well as our subject-specific notability guideline for music.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Click here to contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator, or if you have already done so, you can place a request here.  GILO   A&E 17:29, 18 September 2014 (UTC)[reply]

  • I have declined that speedy deletion nomination, which was placed because you linked the band's name just as Ghost Town, giving the impression that they did not have their own article. You can make the right link by writing [[Ghost Town (band)|Ghost Town]] which gives Ghost Town linking to the right page. I have also moved the page to a title without '' '' at each end - you don't need those, because Infobox Album automatically causes the title to be italicised.
However, if the article is to be kept it needs more. See WP:NALBUMS, which includes "Album articles with little more than a track listing may be more appropriately merged into the artist's main article". In particular, it needs references, both to verify what it says and to establish WP:Notability.
WP:WikiProject Albums is a group of users interested in album articles - there is advice there, and if you have questions you could ask on their talk page. JohnCD (talk) 19:08, 18 September 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Speedy deletion nomination of Lo Key[edit]

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on Lo Key requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G12 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article or image appears to be a clear copyright infringement. This article or image appears to be a direct copy from URL. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images borrowed from other web sites or printed material, and as a consequence, your addition will most likely be deleted. You may use external websites as a source of information, but not as a source of sentences. This part is crucial: say it in your own words. Wikipedia takes copyright violations very seriously and persistent violators will be blocked from editing.

If the external website or image belongs to you, and you want to allow Wikipedia to use the text or image — which means allowing other people to modify it — then you must verify that externally by one of the processes explained at Wikipedia:Donating copyrighted materials. If you are not the owner of the external website or image but have permission from that owner, see Wikipedia:Requesting copyright permission. You might want to look at Wikipedia's policies and guidelines for more details, or ask a question here.

February 2015[edit]

Information icon Welcome to Wikipedia. I have noticed that some of your recent genre changes, such as the one you made to Teenagers (song), have conflicted with our neutral point of view and verifiability policies. While we invite all users to contribute constructively to Wikipedia, we urge all editors to provide reliable sources for edits made. When others disagree, we recommend you seek consensus for certain edits by discussing the matter on the article's talk page. Thank you. Friginator (talk) 20:20, 26 February 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Information icon Please refrain from changing genres, as you did to Welcome to the Black Parade, without providing a source or establishing a consensus on the article's talk page first. Genre changes to suit your own point of view are considered disruptive. Thank you. Friginator (talk) 20:20, 26 February 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Warning icon Please stop your disruptive editing. If you continue to change genres without discussion or sources, as you did at The Black Parade, you may be blocked from editing. Friginator (talk) 20:21, 26 February 2015 (UTC)[reply]

This is the final warning that you will receive regarding continued genre changing without discussion or sources. If you choose to continue, as you did at Famous Last Words (My Chemical Romance song), you may be blocked from editing without further notice. Friginator (talk) 20:21, 26 February 2015 (UTC)[reply]

This is an automated message from CorenSearchBot. I have performed a web search with the contents of Myka, Relocate, and it appears to include material copied directly from http://arteryrecordings.com/artists/myka-relocate/.

It is possible that the bot is confused and found similarity where none actually exists. If that is the case, you can remove the tag from the article. The article will be reviewed to determine if there are any copyright issues.

If substantial content is duplicated and it is not public domain or available under a compatible license, it will be deleted. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images borrowed from other web sites or printed material. You may use such publications as a source of information, but not as a source of sentences. See our copyright policy for further details. Replaceable fair use File:ATTILAwarpedtour.jpg[edit]

Thanks for uploading File:ATTILAwarpedtour.jpg. I noticed that this file is being used under a claim of fair use. However, I think that the way it is being used fails the first non-free content criterion. This criterion states that files used under claims of fair use may have no free equivalent; in other words, if the file could be adequately covered by a freely-licensed file or by text alone, then it may not be used on Wikipedia. If you believe this file is not replaceable, please:

  1. Go to the file description page and add the text {{di-replaceable fair use disputed|<your reason>}} below the original replaceable fair use template, replacing <your reason> with a short explanation of why the file is not replaceable.
  2. On the file discussion page, write a full explanation of why you believe the file is not replaceable.

Alternatively, you can also choose to replace this non-free media item by finding freely licensed media of the same subject, requesting that the copyright holder release this (or similar) media under a free license, or by creating new media yourself (for example, by taking your own photograph of the subject).

If you have uploaded other non-free media, consider checking that you have specified how these media fully satisfy our non-free content criteria. You can find a list of description pages you have edited by clicking on this link. Note that even if you follow steps 1 and 2 above, non-free media which could be replaced by freely licensed alternatives will be deleted 2 days after this notification (7 days if uploaded before 13 July 2006), per the non-free content policy. If you have any questions, please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. Eeekster (talk) 01:36, 3 June 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Orphaned non-free image File:ATTILAwarpedtour.jpg[edit]

⚠

Thanks for uploading File:ATTILAwarpedtour.jpg. The image description page currently specifies that the image is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, the image is currently not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the image was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that images for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).

Note that any non-free images not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described in the criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. --B-bot (talk) 02:13, 4 June 2015 (UTC)[reply]

You currently appear to be engaged in an edit war according to the reverts you have made on Sleeping with Sirens. Users are expected to collaborate with others, to avoid editing disruptively, and to try to reach a consensus rather than repeatedly undoing other users' edits once it is known that there is a disagreement.

Please be particularly aware that Wikipedia's policy on edit warring states:

  1. Edit warring is disruptive regardless of how many reverts you have made.
  2. Do not edit war even if you believe you are right.

If you find yourself in an editing dispute, use the article's talk page to discuss controversial changes; work towards a version that represents consensus among editors. You can post a request for help at an appropriate noticeboard or seek dispute resolution. In some cases it may be appropriate to request temporary page protection. If you engage in an edit war, you may be blocked from editing. Binksternet (talk) 15:25, 11 June 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Block[edit]

There have been no fewer than eight messages left on this talk page (including strongly-worded warnings), from at least two different Wikipedians, warning you to stop changing genre information listed for bands, albums, and/or songs without providing a source and/or discussing the reason for your changes. Despite these attempts to reach out to you, you persist in making changes without discussion or proper references, which contravenes both the collaborative nature of this encyclopedia project and Wikipedia's official policy of verifiability. Therefore,
