Your Articles[edit]

Escape from Furnace -- this is a common problematic wikipedia article but it's a hard subject for this project -- the main issue is that this summary and character sections are too long. But when I've had students do these in the past, it can run into some issues. If it had some stuff on reviews and impact and such there would be more to do, but I don't want your primary focus here to be doing that research.

King Grayskull -- this article maybe should not exist. The first thing you'd have to do is actually check on that, possibly by nominating it for deletion (as someone may have started in 2020). Then from there, if it stuck (assuming you could make it through the deletition discussion in a few weeks) you'd have to figure out what to do with this inappropriate content (most of which violates WP:NOT) -- so maybe we shouldn't?

List of fictional swords -- generally I have students avoid lists. This one is crazy! Yeah, I don't think you want to touch the difficulty. See this discussion for the primary issues: Talk:List_of_fictional_swords#Other_lists_and_inherent_pointlessness

Magical objects in Harry Potter -- this has the same problem as the last one. Sometimes this goes under the name of "Fancruft" -- If you want to do it, you could but it would require a really really bold edit -- more than you think -- and a lot of deleting and culling of content. See what was specified in the 2014 nomination for deletion here: Wikipedia:Articles_for_deletion/Magical_objects_in_Harry_Potter

The Wolf Man (1941 film) -- this one might work. It's improved a lot since that July 2018 tag but needs a good look through. The organization of the whole article is generally ok (fits with what movie articles usually have) but there are organization issues internal to the sections. I'd put it on the border of what we want.

Ok, so you have some possibly ok ones here. Since you already assigned yourself these, let me know what you plan to do and we should go to the talk pages for these pages and remove the tags that were generated there saying that you were doing those. So let me know which you've selected via email. If you don't feel comfortable with two of these, we could wait to see what is left in the list from others on Monday. We can also talk then if you'd like. Etherfire (talk) 20:15, 13 February 2021 (UTC)[reply]
