A tag has been placed on Vector the Crocodile (character) requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a person or group of people, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable, as well as our subject-specific notability guideline for biographies. You may also wish to consider using a Wizard to help you create articles - see the Article Wizard.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}} to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag - if no such tag exists then the page is no longer a speedy delete candidate and adding a hangon tag is unnecessary), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the page that would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Lastly, please note that if the page does get deleted, you can contact one of these admins to request that they userfy the page or have a copy emailed to you. -- Alan Liefting (talk) - 06:38, 22 May 2010 (UTC)[reply]

A tag has been placed on Omega The Robot requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A1 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because it is a very short article providing little or no context to the reader. Please see Wikipedia:Stub for our minimum information standards for short articles. Also please note that articles must be on notable subjects and should provide references to reliable sources that verify their content. You may wish to consider using a Wizard to help you create articles - see the Article Wizard.

King K. Rool(Character)[edit]

Hi, I appreciate your interest, but for a subject to be notable on Wikipedia, it must have significant coverage in third party reliable sources. K. Rool does not have it. Plus, the article would be at King K. Rool. Not King K. Rool (character) or King K. Rool (Nintendo) or King K. Rool (Donkey Kong). There is no need to add anything to it. Categories[edit]

I don't think that the new categories you've created are going to turn out to be useful. Category:Fictional characters who can fly was deleted on the grounds that it was too difficult to define clearly, and Category:Fictional characters with the ability of flight has the same problem, just worded a little differently. So does Category:Fictional characters who can jump at superhuman heights. I expect them to be deleted shortly, so it would be a waste of time adding these categories to any more articles. -Jason A. A tag has been placed on Category:Fictional characters with the ability of flight, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done for the following reason:

it's a recreation under a reworded name of previously deleted category:fictional characters who can fly

Under the criteria for speedy deletion, articles that do not meet basic Wikipedia criteria may be deleted at any time.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, contest the deletion by clicking on the button labelled "Click here to contest this speedy deletion," which appears inside of the speedy deletion ({{db-...}}) tag (if no such tag exists, the page is no longer a speedy delete candidate). Doing so will take you to the talk page where you will find a pre-formatted place for you to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. You can also visit the the page's talk page directly to give your reasons, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the page that would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Trivial categories[edit]

You've been adding characters to categories based on the fact that one time they did something, like adding Kermit the Frog to :category:fictional sword fighters because he fought using a sword once. That's not what categories are for. If someone asked you "what kind of character is Kermit?" you wouldn't answer "sword fighter" or "dancer". He sings in the movies, but that's because they're musicals where everybody sings, not because his character is a professional singer. The categories are for the things that the character is known for, not just things they did once or twice. -Jason A. Quest (talk) 00:12, 20 June 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Category:Fictional overeaters[edit]

Category:Fictional overeaters, which you created, has been nominated for discussion. If you would like to participate in the discussion, you are invited to add your comments at the category's entry on the Categories for discussion page. Thank you. Nymf hideliho! 22:45, 8 March 2012 (UTC)[reply]
