That's not really the point though. It is a previously deleted category, so could and would be re-deleted unless "formally adopted". I agree that it's very unlikely to be opposed, though, and I'd support its creation myself. It's more a "proper procedure" thing than anything else. Grutness...wha? 09:50, 27 January 2007 (UTC)

In any case, it's actually quicker to repropose it than take it to discoveries. At WSS/P it's all done and dusted in five days, whereas things can linger on the discovery page for months with people umming and ahing about them. Grutness...wha? 09:55, 27 January 2007 (UTC)

FIFA ranking updates March 07

Sterling work on updating the rankings. As one who has for the last few months trawled through a few days after each FIFA update changing the rankings of the pages of national sides whose own interested parties had not already done so, I know the task, and also the frustration of working through a list to find that some have been changed, and others have not. And so, have you, as far as you know, updated all of them, or did you concentrate on one Continent or one range of the rankings list? Angolan footballers

I believe that players like Fernando Peyroteo should be classified as both Angolan and Portuguese. It is not based on national teams, but by nationality. It is a clearly a fine line with the old empires, but he was born in Angola and therefore, is Angolan by birth, Portuguese by ethnicity. • The difference between those players and Peyroteo is that Peyroteo was born in a Portuguese colony, while they were born in countries that did not share common citizenship. João Ricardo is another white Angolan that should be classified as Angolan, despite the fact that he played most of his life outside of the country. suffice to convince me that your move of Luis Miguel to Luis Miguel Gallego Basteri utterly ignored WP:COMMONNAME. I have not yet researched whether the correct title is

• Luis Miguel, with a ToP Dab lk'g to Luis Miguel (disambiguation), or
• something like Luis Miguel (singer),

but if you don't fix it quickly, i will do so without further communicating with you.

Luis Miguel Gallego Basteri

I would consider your move from Luis Miguel to Luis Miguel Gallego Basteri as a highly controversial renaming of an article. Please do not take offense, but I am positive that you are not familiar with this topic, or Spanish culture in general. Here are my thoughts on this:

• Luis Miguel is a singer of worldwide fame and much more notable than the other four Luis Miguels that you included in that disambiguation list.
• Luis Miguel is much more of a public figure than any other Luis Miguel, since he is a Grammy winner and is often romantically associated with big stars, such as Mariah Carey, Daisy Fuentes, etc.
• Please also note that "Luis Miguel" is his professional name, and that is why he is notable, he is not a scientist or politician or any other profession where a full name is used.
• Also only one of the other Luis Miguels has an article, therefore people looking for "Luis Miguel" will be taken to that disambig page while almost all of them will be looking for the singer and not anybody else.
• In addition, none of the other Luis Miguels go by "Luis Miguel" only the singer.

I will strongly suggest you moved the page back to Luis Miguel and create another Luis Miguel (disambiguation) page.

List of F.C. Internazionale Milano players

Don't need to add every single player in whole Internazionale's history; that one is supposed to be a list of "notable Inter footballers", i.e. players who have appeared at least 100 times with the club (or fell short of 100 in case), plus players which experienced considerable success with some other team. Players with a very short number of caps with Inter should not be included at all. The inclusion rule should be explained in the article itself, by the way, and is shared by all analogous footballers' lists in Wikipedia (I've originally taken from Arsenal's). --Angelo 03:42, 28 April 2007 (UTC)
