Crash articles[edit]

Hi Martin, I see you are enjoying Wikipedia. i think it is grest, but there are limitations. The biggest is that the servers are not infinite in size, so we editors have to monitor the input and ensure that articles conform to policies and guidelines. Please do NOT gdet offended if some of your articles get heavily editted or even deleted, this is all part od the process and is definitely not personal. On that note if you ever feel that another editor is making it personal, you should bring your conncerns to the open in the project talk page, where experienced editors / administrators will sort out the problem,

Happy editting. P.S. The Thai airways article just doesn't meet notability guideline and falls foul of other guidelines. Look at it as good practice, one day the right subject will present itself, and you will be readey.--Petebutt (talk) 19:27, 14 September 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Thank you very much, yes I do realize I am still an amateur! Thanks, I really appreciate it :). Happy editing! User:Martinillo (User talk:Martinillo|talk]]) 19:43, 14 September

Hello, I'm BracketBot. I have automatically detected that your edit to Halifax Stanfield International Airport may have broken the syntax by modifying 1 "[]"s. If you have, don't worry: just edit the page again to fix it. If I misunderstood what happened, or if you have any questions, you can leave a message on my operator's talk page.

HELP[edit]

Where is the Visual editor, i cant find it? thanks — Preceding unsigned comment added by 194.46.191.190 (talk) 21:36, 26 October 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Hi there. Yes, Visual Editor was temporary and used a beta. It was only on for a certain period of time as a "test". It is no longer available. I hope this answers your question. Please do not vandalize any other pages. Thanks! Martinillo (talk) 21:39, 26 October 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Thank you for the info. could you provide a link for more info, all the pages ive seen say it should still be active. Shouldnt they be deleted or changed to "was" from "is"? — Preceding unsigned comment added by 194.46.191.190 (talk) 21:42, 26 October 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Yep, sure can. And I am unsure if you should because visual editor is still in other countries. You'd have to run that over with an admin. But heres a few links: http://www.mediawiki.org/wiki/VisualEditor, https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wikipedia:VisualEditor/Feedback. Hope this helps!Martinillo (talk) 22:02, 26 October 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Undoing Revision of JYP Entertainment[edit]

Hello. I saw that you did undid a revision to the page JYP Entertainment in which I took out the list of JYP Entertainment labels. I was following WP:Split for the article. Since there was no objections to the proposal of splitting, I took the liberty of splitting the article into the former and List of JYP Entertainment labels. More specifically, I was following the fourteenth step of the subsection "How to properly split an article." Is there a problem? Thanks! Kkj11210 (talk) 04:32, 29 October 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Ohhhh! Yes, I am extremely sorry about undoing your revision on JYP Entertainment. I thought it was vandalism as half of the page was missing! I appreciate you contacting me, as I too, make mistakes! There is no problem, hope you have a good day! Martinillo (talk) 04:44, 29 October 2013 (UTC)[reply]

I've undid the revisions. Thanks for replying quickly! Kkj11210 (talk) 05:23, 29 October 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Disambiguation link notification for November 1[edit]

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited Swimming at the 1967 Pan American Games, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Freestyle (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

Hello Martinillo. It has been over six months since you last edited your WP:AFC draft article submission, entitled "Redstone Golf Resort".

The page will shortly be deleted. If you plan on editing the page to address the issues raised when it was declined and resubmit it, simply edit the submission and remove the {{db-afc}} or {{db-g13}} code. Please note that Articles for Creation is not for indefinite hosting of material deemed unsuitable for the encyclopedia mainspace.

If your submission has already been deleted by the time you get there, and you want to retrieve it, copy this code: {{subst:Refund/G13|Wikipedia talk:Articles for creation/Redstone Golf Resort}}, paste it in the edit box at this link, click "Save page", and an administrator will in most cases undelete the submission.

Thanks for your submission to Wikipedia, and happy editing. —rybec 04:36, 12 February 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Reliable sources[edit]

Regarding your addition to the aircrash article of info sourced to Twitter, [1], please read WP:RS. Twitter is not considered a reliable source. You can argue your case on the article's talk page, where other editors called for removing Twitter and Youtube as references. Thanks. Edison (talk) 20:19, 17 July 2014 (UTC)[reply]
