You do not need not answer the above question. Wikipedia is founded on anonymity. Some editors do sometimes like to think they have some special power, or act like the town sheriff, or wear a plastic sheriff badge while riding a tiny plastic horsey. The rule is that you need not reveal any past accounts as long as you were never blocked. Check WP:CLEANSTART. My advice is to ignore "fishing" queries like the one above, and the replies that will no doubt follow below: treat them with the same seriousness as you would local children selling lemonade, who are also dressed as sheriffs. IP, I know who you are; so it was silly of you to come here and make the above statement. Spacing between your signature would make all the difference. So would not relying on your typical use of an exclamation mark. Markshale is not a clean start account, but feel free to keep acting like he is.

Do read up on WP:CLEANSTART, however. The rule is not that "you need not reveal any past accounts as long as you were never blocked." It is not just about never having been blocked.

I can definitely confirm that I am not any of the editors you indicated in your SPI, as the investigation shows, nor am I the IP above, as a checkuser can easily show, nor do I support their coments I don't know what's going on here, but I find it as fishy as you do. However, given that I know you are completely wrong in your assumptions about who I am, I find your comments about me on the SPI somewhat obsessive and disturbing. -- Markshale (talk) 12:32, 4 October 2016 (UTC)

I don't believe you. The investigation does not show that you are not Tisane, as others in the SPI have made clear. I find it fishy that you have now decided to comment after editors in the SPI have stated that they would like to hear from you. I believe that you are only now commenting to save this account. I really, truly, am not your antagonist, nor do I know anything about the backstory of this. I know from your comment above you won't believe me, but please accept the possibility that I might be truthful in this. I don't know what wrongs this other editor has committed, but it has clearly upset you deeply, and the nasty taunting from the IP above seems designed to upset you even more. By the way, my responding here now is not a coincidence. When I logged in, I saw that there were a bunch of notifications waiting for me, read the comments, and decided to respond here. This is the first I heard about an SPI: again, checkusers are welcome to look at my login and edit history, and the history of this talk page to verify this. I did indeed ignore your earlier comment because it was intemperate, and I felt did not warrant a reply. ArbCom Elections 2016: Voting now open!

Hello, Markshale. Voting in the 2016 Arbitration Committee elections is open from Monday, 00:00, 21 November through Sunday, 23:59, 4 December to all unblocked users who have registered an account before Wednesday, 00:00, 28 October 2016 and have made at least 150 mainspace edits before Sunday, 00:00, 1 November 2016.

The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to impose binding solutions to disputes between editors, primarily for serious conduct disputes the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the authority to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail.
