No Original Research[edit]
Hi, Marburg79. This concerns the St. William Parish (Lawncrest) article that you created and to which you contribute substantially. Almost the entire bulk of the article, as currently written, appears to be in violation of Wikipedia guidelines on no original research. There are no independent reliable sources of any kind provided for the text -- let alone any in-line citations. The only reference is an external link to the parish website. (Please read pages I have the blue-linked above, and note that all Wikipedia articles must be adhere to these policies.) Therefore, I have tagged the article for Original Research and Referencing problems. These tags should be removed only after the problems have been addressed. This means that all material within the article must be attributable to a reliable published source and I'm asking that those references be demonstrated. The article has remained in this encyclopedic form since its creation -- and if these issues are not addressed, then all of the the unreferenced text will need to be removed. I have also placed a note at Talk:St. William Parish (Lawncrest) should you wish to respond there. If you have any questions about this, please feel free to ask. As I said, clearly, delete the page. There is no resources available from the parish publicly. Most of the info is from parish materials in private collections, again, not available to the general public to research.
Amusing it is, that anyone can edit any article at any time, yet you need "rest assured" resources for same article. Anyone can site any resource, valid or not, and be considered 'approved' and it may take 2 -3 years for invalid resources to be discovered and in that interim, thousands have read incorrect information.
Final words: delete the page!
