hi ;p --Makesdark (talk)

Hi and seasons greetings to you as well. I have read your comment regarding my edit to the ideology of the LDP and regarding the addition of Populism to the info box I have also read your references for Populism and when you consider the article the LDP has various ideological factions within its ranks and takes various ideological positions on specific issues and populism could and should be included in the ideology section of the info box and I will add this for you including the references but I would also keep Conservatism, Liberal conservatism, and your more recent additions of Economic liberalism, Social conservatism, Nationalism and Centrism as these represent the party's various factional and ideological stances. As for political position the party should either be Centre-right or Right-wing because as when compared to the Centre-left/Centrist Democratic Party of Japan it is to the Right and when you consider the fact that it has been in coalitions with various Right-wing parties such as the New Komeito Party you start to realise that it is a thoroughly Rightist party in a Japanese and political sense. --Gr8opinionater (talk) 10:36AM, 3 January 2010 (GMT)

Thank you, and well received and understood for keeping Conservatism, Liberal conservatism on the infobox.
I also would like to note my conception that the LDP may not be so center-right if the term should exclude far-right ideology in a worldwide view. LDP has affiliations with organizations such as "Japan Conference/Nippon Kaigi"[1][2][3][4][5][6], where its objective is to restore some of Japan's national policies and culture to their 'right and correct' pre-war state, by means of some 'moderate' and democratic approaches.--Makesdark (talk) 13:17, 5 January 2010 (UTC)[reply]
