Unless Koreans or Vietnamese get together with Chinese to celebrate the common new year, each group's own celebration is never referred to as "Chinese New Year". Same with biographical or geographical names. It can be a Japanese name written in kanji or a Korean name written in hanja, but it ain't a Chinese name. Otherwise it would be romanized according to Chinese pronunciation. Please get your perspective right. HkCaGu (talk) 00:19, 2 February 2008 (UTC)
