Uploading[edit]

Please make sure the file extension is correct, I've had to move/rename many files due to this kind of error .jpg.wepb. It is preferable to upload .jpg instead of the other. Please be more careful. Thanx, - FlightTime (open channel) 20:59, 15 May 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks for the message. I am trying to upload a .jpg image and it keeps giving me an error message reading "Upload failed: File extension ".jpg" does not match the detected MIME type of the file (image/webp). (filetype-mime-mismatch, jpg, image/webp)". Is there a specific reason it needs to be a .jpg image? Admittedly I am very new at this so I am trying to learn the ins and outs, but it seemed like my previous image looked great on both my phone and laptop when I visited the page. Thanks for your time. Information icon Hello. I have noticed that you often edit without using an edit summary. Please do your best to always fill in the summary field. This helps your fellow editors use their time more productively, rather than spending it unnecessarily scrutinizing and verifying your work. Even a short summary is better than no summary, and summaries are particularly important for large, complex, or potentially controversial edits. To help yourself remember, you may wish to check the "prompt me when entering a blank edit summary" box in your preferences. Thanks! Drmies (talk) 23:40, 21 December 2023 (UTC)[reply]
