Infoboxes for Italian communes[edit]

Hi! Thanks for adding the infobox to Mirabello Sannitico. A note: if you are in difficulty with fields, simply copy and paste from other articles which already have it (i.e., take the infobox from Termoli and modify the correct data). Ciao! user:Attilios

Possibly unfree Image:MS-townview-sw-tn.jpg[edit]

An image that you uploaded or altered, Image:MS-townview-sw-tn.jpg, has been listed at Wikipedia:Possibly unfree images because its copyright status is disputed. If the image's copyright status cannot be verified, it may be deleted. You may find more information on the image description page. You are welcome to add comments to its entry at the discussion if you are interested in it not being deleted. Thank you. ----TheDJ (talkcontribs) 15:45, 11 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]

I just had a concern that you did not make this photo yourself because the description made it appear as if you had downloaded it from a website. Since you responded in such a proper way and since I cannot prove anything I will retract the claim and the image can stay. Now for some of your other questions:
  1. You do not need to upload thumbnails. Wikipedia has software that automatically creates thumbnails if needed. Therefore, i will mark your uploaded thumbnail as a duplicate of the large image.
  2. You can sign your message by typing ~~~~ (that are 4 tilde characters) or by pressing the signature icon in the toolbar when you are editing. Then after you save the page, the software will automatically add your name. See also this information page.
  3. Now for images. There are several basic things i will tell you. will insert a fullsize image in the article. This is often too large, usually we use thumbs. these work like this (or left, but right is preferred). Clicking an image in wikipedia will always take you to the pictures own page (in your case it would be here. In case of thumbnails, you should also add a "caption" or "subscript": . For a full explanation read this help page.
this is a thumbnail with a caption
  4. In your case i think a gallery is more what you are looking for. This works a little different from normal image inclusion. You can ready about galleries on this help page. In this specific case I made the changes to the Mirabello Sannitico article for you. I made these changes As you can see, I also removed some whitespace, and moved it above "External links" (see also, external links, references, notes, categories always go at the bottom of the article.)

I hope i have been able to help you, but if you have any other questions, you are welcome to ask them. --TheDJ (talkcontribs) 20:41, 12 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]

List of rail accidents (1900-29)[edit]

Re this edit, I'm not sure why you reverted my addition of an image. I've restored the image and fixed your edits by removing the gallery, and suppressing the images by placing a colon betwee the square brackets and the word File. There is no need to use thumb with suppressed images. Mjroots (talk) 15:05, 21 June 2014 (UTC)[reply]

1805 Molise earthquake[edit]

Hi MIademarco, I've added a table using the CFTI4MED source, but it does rather overwhelm the article - let me know what you think (on the article talk page if you don't mind). Mikenorton (talk) 22:00, 6 March 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Very helpful, thank you, for both pages of edits. Apologies I have not figured out how to code this thing yet. MIademarco

Europe 10,000 Challenge invite[edit]

Hi. The Wikipedia:WikiProject Europe/The 10,000 Challenge has recently started, based on the UK/Ireland Wikipedia:The 10,000 Challenge. The idea is not to record every minor edit, but to create a momentum to motivate editors to produce good content improvements and creations and inspire people to work on more countries than they might otherwise work on. There's also the possibility of establishing smaller country or regional challenges for places like Germany, Italy, the Benelux countries, Iberian Peninsula, Romania, Slovenia etc, much like Wikipedia:The 1000 Challenge (Nordic). For this to really work we need diversity and exciting content and editors from a broad range of countries regularly contributing. If you would like to see masses of articles being improved for Europe and your specialist country like Wikipedia:WikiProject Africa/The Africa Destubathon, sign up today and once the challenge starts a contest can be organized. This is a way we can target every country of Europe, and steadily vastly improve the encyclopedia. We need numbers to make this work so consider signing up as a participant and also sign under any country sub challenge on the page that you might contribute to! Thank you. --Ser Amantio di NicolaoChe dicono a Signa?Lo dicono a Signa. 10:01, 6 November 2016 (UTC)[reply]

The article Iademarco has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

This is a non-notable surname per WP:APONOTE as there aren't at least two notable people with the name, nor is it notable per WP:GNG.

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the page to address the issues raised. Removing will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. -- Tavix (talk) 14:39, 6 June 2017 (UTC)[reply]
