GLONASS info revert

Hey there,

I wanted to thank you for your edit to GLONASS. I've reverted it back but wanted to touch base with you about the change.

The launch of three satellites is important info, and as such it was actually already in the article, but it probably isn't appropriate for the "lead in" section since a reader may not have context to understand how launches have been proceeding. I also noticed you had some predictions about coverage after the satellites become active. This would have probably been tagged for citation, meaning that the source of the information would have to be explicitly included in the article. If you have a source for the 80% figure, perhaps we can work that into the body near the section that talks about recent launches, or in a section about the near future.

Sorry to be sending you so much info, but the info about the december launches was a little further down in the article, so I've gone ahead and moved your content into that section. I can see you were trying to explain where the numbers were coming from, and I did a poor job explaining the citation system. I'm short on time, so for the moment I'm going to have to point you to How to cite sources for information. Also, take a look in the glonaas article. Once again welcome to Wiki! Got your message, just two small suggestions

• When you add something to a person's talk page (or an article's talk page), use the "+" button up at the very top, next to "edit this page." It will add a new topic to the page at the bottom.
• At the end of your talk page text its helpful if you can sign it by typing ~~~~, or by pressing the signature button in the toolbar (the row of icons above the text box). This helps when people read their pages to see when things were added.
