Hi LordZebedee! Thanks for contributing to Wikipedia.
Be our guest at the Teahouse! The Teahouse is a friendly space where new editors can ask questions about contributing to Wikipedia and get help from peers and experienced editors. I hope to see you there! Hajatvrc (I'm a Teahouse host)

Welrod[edit]

Hi, LordZebedee. I removed the section in Welrod again because it's trivia, which is discouraged under our policies, and it was also unreferenced. There are guidelines about what is and is not allowed at WP:POPCULTURE. If we can include a reliable source stating that the Welrod is important in some way in that particular film, I'd be happy to support its mention. I hope this helps. Cheers! Woodroar (talk) 12:35, 9 June 2013 (UTC)[reply]

I have again reverted your edits at Welrod. Please take time to read the policies I posted above and the relevant discussion at Wikipedia talk:WikiProject Firearms#Pop culture section at Welrod as well as WikiProject Firearms pop culture guidelines. As a Wiki, the Internet Movie Firearms Database is not a reliable source. Further reverts without discussion will be considered disruptive editing. If you have any questions, please ask, don't simply revert. Woodroar (talk) 14:55, 18 June 2013 (UTC)[reply]

June 2013[edit]

Please stop your disruptive editing, as you did at Welrod. Your edits have been reverted or removed.

Do not continue to make edits that appear disruptive until the dispute is resolved through consensus. Continuing to edit disruptively may result in your being blocked from editing. Woodroar (talk) 00:32, 21 June 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Information icon Hello. There is currently a discussion at Wikipedia:Administrators' noticeboard/Incidents regarding an issue with which you may have been involved. The thread is User:LordZebedee ignoring consensus. Thank you. Woodroar (talk) 01:20, 24 June 2013 (UTC)[reply]

You currently appear to be engaged in an edit war according to the reverts you have made on Welrod. Users are expected to collaborate with others, to avoid editing disruptively, and to try to reach a consensus rather than repeatedly undoing other users' edits once it is known that there is a disagreement.

Please be particularly aware, Wikipedia's policy on edit warring states:

  1. Edit warring is disruptive regardless of how many reverts you have made; that is to say, editors are not automatically "entitled" to three reverts.
  2. Do not edit war even if you believe you are right.

If you find yourself in an editing dispute, use the article's talk page to discuss controversial changes; work towards a version that represents consensus among editors. You can post a request for help at an appropriate noticeboard or seek dispute resolution. In some cases it may be appropriate to request temporary page protection. If you engage in an edit war, you may be blocked from editing. Drmies (talk) 04:05, 24 June 2013 (UTC)[reply]

  • You are obviously editing against consensus. The next time you insert that material you will be blocked. It is unfortunate that threatening you with a block seems to be the only option, but you have chosen not to listen to consensus. Drmies (talk) 04:08, 24 June 2013 (UTC)[reply]

You have been blocked from editing for a period of 24 hours for edit warring against consensus. Once the block has expired, you are welcome to make useful contributions. If you think there are good reasons why you should be unblocked, you may appeal this block by adding the following text below this notice: {{unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}}. However, you should read the guide to appealing blocks first.

During a dispute, you should first try to discuss controversial changes and seek consensus. If that proves unsuccessful, you are encouraged to seek dispute resolution, and in some cases it may be appropriate to request page protection.  -- Boing! said Zebedee (talk) 10:41, 24 June 2013 (UTC)[reply]

A quick word of advice[edit]

To avoid future blocks please discuss the issues on the relevant talk page instead of just undoing edits. PantherLeapord (talk) 07:14, 26 June 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Exactly. Any single revert from this point forward will lead to an indefinite block from this project. (✉→BWilkins←✎) 10:23, 26 June 2013 (UTC)[reply]
