Hello, this is a message from an automated bot. A tag has been placed on Speakin' Spanish (Angela Via song), by another Wikipedia user, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. The tag claims that it should be speedily deleted because Speakin' Spanish (Angela Via song) is a redirect to a non-existent page (CSD R1).

To contest the tagging and request that administrators wait before possibly deleting Speakin' Spanish (Angela Via song), please affix the template {{hangon}} to the page, and put a note on its talk page. If the article has already been deleted, see the advice and instructions at WP:WMD. Feel free to contact the bot operator if you have any questions about this or any problems with this bot, bearing in mind that this bot is only informing you of the nomination for speedy deletion; it does not perform any nominations or deletions itself. Hi, I've noticed you are the creator and one of the main contributors of the Delta Goodrem discography article. I'm thinking of promiting the article to WP:FLC status and hence, there will be a lot of changes and edits in this article. I extend my welcome to ask you to help me with this task, but also, if you have any queries or you do not agree with some of my edits, leave a message on my talk page or the article talk page. I look forward to working with you. σмgнgσмg(talk) 03:29, 28 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Speedy deletion of Image:KateAlexa.jpg[edit]

A tag has been placed on Image:KateAlexa.jpg requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section I9 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the image appears to be a blatant copyright infringement. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted images or text borrowed from other web sites or printed material, and as a consequence, your addition will most likely be deleted.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}} to the top of the page (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on [[ Talk:Image:KateAlexa.jpg|the talk page]] explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the article meets the criterion it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. FLC promotion of Human Nature discography[edit]

Hey, the same thing applies to the Delta Goodrem discography. I know you're probably busy with your Yr 12 studies, but if you have the time, feel free to help! Oh by the way, Delta Goodrem discography is now a FL candidate. Cheers. σмgнgσмg(talk) 09:43, 21 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Help![edit]

Hello, I have been wrongly accused of sockpuppetry because of my friends and families inexperienced edits to wikipedia on the same computer. What should I do? Please help. Thanks, Surfer-boy94 (talk) 08:32, 26 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Flag icons![edit]

I'm sorry. But I think they just look more stylish. Besides users can just put the mouse over the flag icon and see which country's flag is. But if is valuating someone or something, won't happen again... Sinnec (talk) 16:15, 27 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks for uploading or contributing to Image:MichalaBanasKissin'TheWind.jpg. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is not a suitable explanation or rationale as to why each specific use in Wikipedia constitutes fair use. Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale.

If you have uploaded other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on those pages too. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that any non-free media lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. --Geniac (talk) 20:00, 7 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]

speedy[edit]

You can not delete articles on songs via speedy deletion. Please use only the reasons and categories specified in WP:CSD, specifically WP:CSD A7. You must use PROD, and if the prod is removed AfD. The point of the rule is that these are sometimes unfamiliar & more than 2 people need a chance to look at them. DGG (talk) 09:46, 30 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]

In re your removal of chart data from infoboxes[edit]

Hi, I noticed your recent edit to "I Want You (Savage Garden song)". When you remove the chart data from the infoboxes, it would be helpful if you could put that data into a chart in the article, so the information isn't lost from the article. For articles you aren't interested enough in to research citations for the data, you could slap a citation request on the chart, or move the uncited data to the article's talk page with a request someone else research and format it...or simply not remove the infobox data from articles which don't already include those numbers in a chart or in the text. Thanks. Abrazame (talk) 04:50, 8 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Orphaned non-free media (Image:HeavenIsAPlaceOnEarth.jpg)[edit]

Thanks for uploading Image:HeavenIsAPlaceOnEarth.jpg. The media description page currently specifies that it is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, it is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the media was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that media for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).

If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Popular (The Veronicas song)[edit]

The song has charted on an official chart. The top 100 Australian airplay chart. Surely that is grounds for bringing the page back. Billy4kate, (talk)

What if the song is featured on an Australian compilation album. It is featured on NOW: Summer 2008. Does that make it get un-deleted.

Disputed non-free use rationale for Image:InnocentEyesvideo.JPG[edit]

Thank you for uploading Image:InnocentEyesvideo.JPG. However, there is a concern that the rationale provided for using this image on Wikipedia may not meet the criteria required by Wikipedia:Non-free content. This can be corrected by going to the image description page and add or clarify the reason why the image qualifies under this policy. Adding and completing one of the templates available from Wikipedia:Non-free use rationale guideline is an easy way to ensure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy. Please be aware that a non-free use rationale is not the same as an image copyright tag; descriptions for images used under the non-free content policy require both a copyright tag and a non-free use rationale.

If it is determined that the image does not qualify under the non-free content policy, it might be deleted by an administrator within a few days in accordance with our criteria for speedy deletion. File copyright problem with File:CandiceAlleyalbum.jpg[edit]

Thank you for uploading File:CandiceAlleyalbum.jpg. However, it currently is missing information on its copyright status. Wikipedia takes copyright very seriously. It may be deleted soon, unless we can determine the license and the source of the file. If you know this information, then you can add a copyright tag to the image description page.

If you have uploaded other files, consider checking that you have specified their license and tagged them, too. You can find a list of files you have created in your upload log.

If you have any questions, please feel free to ask them at the media copyright questions page. Thanks again for your cooperation. Sfan00 IMG (talk) 19:29, 8 June 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Fair use rationale for File:Falling.JPG[edit]

Thanks for uploading or contributing to File:Falling.JPG. I notice the file page specifies that the file is being used under fair use but there is not a suitable explanation or rationale as to why each specific use in Wikipedia constitutes fair use. Please go to the file description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale.

If you have uploaded other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on those pages too. You can find a list of 'file' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "File" from the dropdown box. Note that any non-free media lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. Skier Dude (talk 03:23, 20 September 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page.
