Non-free content use[edit]

Thank you for contributing to Wikipedia. We always appreciate when users upload files. However, it appears that one or more of the files you have uploaded or added to a page, specifically User:Lianne99/sandbox, may fail our non-free policy. Most often, this involves editors uploading or using a copyrighted file of a living person. For other possible reasons, please read up on our Non-free criteria. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. -- Marchjuly (talk) 05:18, 19 March 2019 (UTC)[reply]

  • Hi! I just wanted to echo what Marchjuly stated - book covers can only be used in the live article. The reason for this is that Wikipedia can only use the covers under fair use guidelines since they're copyrighted, which basically say that we can only use the covers in a live article to identify the article topic, and even then typically only in the infobox for the article. This unfortunately means that the image needs to be removed if you copy the article to your userspace, which is a bit frustrating but definitely something that can be worked around. The Wolves of Mercy Falls - Peer Review Feedback[edit]

For the most part the article is clearly written with correct spelling and grammar, it does however have some minor grammatical errors. The lead section may be considered a bit lengthy, and can be more concise — some info could be moved into a different section. The structure is good, only issue being that the 'See also' section is empty. Some wikilinks could be added to the 'Recognition' section, as it is currently lacking. It is overall a well balanced and neutral article, well done! You also don't have any obvious copyright violations or subjective value statements, another good one there! ;)ᐜ As for competing viewpoints, a 'Reception' or 'Reviews' section could be added to get a more nuanced angle, including both positive and negative reviews, assuming they exist. Reliable sources are used throughout the article, though it may rely on the author's website a bit too much. It is well cited and verified overall, however the plot summaries need more references. For possible improvements, you could add images to the article of the book covers. WikiEmz (talk) 11:34, 26 March 2019 (UTC)[reply]
