User page[edit]

I note, in retrospect, your eccentric view of the function of userpages, which you inserted into my talk page before vandalizing it. Your post was in fact reverted by a colleague before I saw it.

You are perfectly entitled to hold any views you wish about me or about Wikipedia, but when editing within this project you are expected and required to follow established guidelines and policies. I see that you state you were active here from 2008 to 2010; I was an admin at that time, as I still am, and the guidelines and policies, while undergoing some refinement and development, have not materially changed since that period.

A userpage, as you can see should you choose so to do, is intended to be a page on which an editor has the opportunity of expounding on his/her expectations, skills, achievements, interests, etc, as these things relate to their current, past or anticipated activity within wikipedia. The inclusion of brief biographical data is also acceptable. Your deleted userpage comes nowhere near according with these criteria. I note your statement of intent to reinstate your page. I advise you to modify the text therein to comply with the requirements that this project stipulates. --Anthony Bradbury"talk" 12:02, 7 December 2016 (UTC)[reply]
