If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on HOST1PLUS, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G11 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page seems to be unambiguous advertising which only promotes a company, product, group, service or person and would need to be fundamentally rewritten in order to become encyclopedic. Please read the guidelines on spam and Wikipedia:FAQ/Organizations for more information.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Click here to contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, you can place a request here. LorChat 23:44, 28 June 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Conflict of interest[edit]

Information icon Hello, Ladiepre. We welcome your contributions to Wikipedia, but if you are affiliated with some of the people, places or things you have written about on Wikipedia, you may have a conflict of interest.

All editors are required to comply with Wikipedia's neutral point of view content policy. People who are very close to a subject often have a distorted view of it, which may cause them to inadvertently edit in ways that make the article either too flattering or too disparaging. People with a close connection to a subject are not absolutely prohibited from editing about that subject, but they need to be especially careful about ensuring their edits are verified by reliable sources and writing with as little bias as possible.

If you are very close to a subject, here are some ways you can reduce the risk of problems:

  • Avoid or exercise great caution when editing or creating articles related to you, your organization, or its competitors, as well as projects and products they are involved with.
  • Avoid linking to the Wikipedia article or website of your organization in other articles (see Wikipedia:Spam).
  • Exercise great caution so that you do not accidentally breach Wikipedia's content policies.

Please familiarize yourself with relevant content policies and guidelines, especially those pertaining to neutral point of view, verifiability of information, and autobiographies.

For information on how to contribute to Wikipedia when you have a conflict of interest, please see our frequently asked questions for organizations. Thank you. Tokyogirl79 (。◕‿◕。) 07:52, 29 June 2014 (UTC)[reply]

  • I get the impression (per links such as this one) that you are someone who was paid to edit Wikipedia on behalf of the various companies. Please understand that this constitutes a WP:COI and while you can still edit, you need to openly state that you are paid to edit or are receiving some sort of compensation for this. The articles you have submitted were all tagged for deletion as being promotional (WP:G11) or failing WP:CORP (WP:A7). The articles came across as promotional because they contained WP:PEACOCK phrases and wording that came across as being overly promotional. It's the type of thing that would be fine in a press release or on the company's official website, but is not considered to be appropriate for Wikipedia. As far as companies overall go, you need to have sources like this one or this one, where it is in a reliable place and goes into some depth about things. Routine database listings are not usable as reliable sources. I'd probably recommend that since you are a new user and you are being paid to create articles, that you go through WP:AfC for any new article creations. I'd recommend that you start very slow, though, since paid editors will have to know guidelines more thoroughly and edit more neutrally and carefully than any other editor on Wikipedia. It'd be best if you were to start small, by making little edits on various other articles and getting someone from the WP:TEAHOUSE to mentor you for a while before you begin making articles for companies. The thing to remember though, is that not every company is notable. Existence does not always guarantee notability and Wikipedia is not intended to be used as a place to promote or raise awareness for any company, organization, or subject, regardless of what the topic or services are. To add to Tokyogirl79's comments, you should know that undeclared paid editing is not permitted on Wikipedia. If you are receiving any sort of compensation from Digital Energy Technologies to write about them on Wikipedia - as appears to be the case - then you need to declare this fact openly on your userpage. Failure to do so is a violation of the WikiMedia Foundation's Terms of Use, and will result in your account being blocked. Yunshui  12:52, 2 July 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Speedy deletion nomination of Digital Energy Technologies[edit]

Hello Ladiepre,

I wanted to let you know that I just tagged Digital Energy Technologies for deletion, because it seems to be promotional, rather than an encyclopedia article.

If you feel that the article shouldn't be deleted and want more time to work on it, you can contest this deletion, but please don't remove the speedy deletion tag from the top.

You can leave a note on my talk page if you have questions. :) (talk) 11:05, 2 July 2014 (UTC)[reply]

July 2014[edit]

Stop icon
You have been blocked indefinitely from editing for violating the Wikimedia Foundation's Terms of Use, specifically: undisclosed paid editing. It seems evident from this and this that you have accepted a commission from Digital Energy Technologies to write about them and their products on Wikipedia, and you have not made this information available to the Wikipedia community. If you think there are good reasons why you should be unblocked, you may appeal this block by adding the following text below this notice: {{unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}}. However, you should read the guide to appealing blocks first.  Yunshui  13:03, 2 July 2014 (UTC)[reply]
