Sandbox?

Hi, LMR -- I got your message that you posted your bibliography in your Sandbox, but for some reason I can't access your sandbox...it could be because you need to add a link to it on your user page (there is no link at the moment). Go to your User page and add this text at the bottom: {{My sandbox|LMR0804}} Don’t forget the curly brackets! This will add a “button” to your User page that will allow me to access your sandbox. Never mind -- I was able to find your sandbox another way, and so I looked at your bib. The sources you've chosen look promising, and overall, you have a good grasp of MLA, too! Remember that you should italicize book and journal titles. It's also okay to just write "New York" instead of "New York City," and you can omit words in publishers' names such as "Company" and "Limited" -- this is because MLA style prefers brevity whenever possible. Problems with upload of File:La dafne 1a.jpg

Thanks for uploading File:La dafne 1a.jpg. You don't seem to have said where the image came from, who created it, or what the copyright status is. We require this information to verify that the image is legally usable on Wikipedia, and because most image licenses require giving credit to the image's creator.

References formatting

On English Wikipedia there is is standard references format which does the following:

• 1. It "covers" raw URLS such as "www.theflorentine.net" (NB: still on the page)
• 2. Does not continue to repeat the same reference details every time it appears but uses < ref name = xx />
• 3. Takes the name of the author of the publication with the date of the pub beside it, then the page number, given that the full reference for the article is already placed down below. This applies especially for books. e.g Parker as author. In the event that other pages from the same publication need to be included, then they appear as author and date, diff. page number.
