Daily Mail reference at Priya Anjali Rai

Hi. The Daily Mail reference you used at Priya Anjali Rai needs to be replaced or removed. It is not considered a reliable source. See WP:DAILYMAIL. Kind regards, Robby.is.on (talk) 19:12, 9 December 2020 (UTC)

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on Priya Anjali Rai requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G4 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page appears to be a repost of material that was previously deleted following a deletion discussion, at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Priya Anjali Rai. When a page has substantially identical content to that of a page deleted after a discussion, and any changes in the content do not address the reasons for which the material was previously deleted, it may be deleted at any time.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator, or if you have already done so, you can place a request here. Hello KyloRen3. The nature of your edits, such as the one you made to Priya Anjali Rai, gives the impression you have an undisclosed financial stake in promoting a topic, but you have not complied with Wikipedia's mandatory paid editing disclosure requirements. Paid advocacy is a category of conflict of interest (COI) editing that involves being compensated by a person, group, company or organization to use Wikipedia to promote their interests. Undisclosed paid advocacy is prohibited by our policies on neutral point of view and what Wikipedia is not, and is an especially serious type of COI; the Wikimedia Foundation regards it as a "black hat" practice akin to black-hat search-engine optimization.

Paid advocates are very strongly discouraged from direct article editing, and should instead propose changes on the talk page of the article in question if an article exists. If the article does not exist, paid advocates are extremely strongly discouraged from attempting to write an article at all. At best, any proposed article creation should be submitted through the articles for creation process, rather than directly.

Regardless, if you are receiving or expect to receive compensation for your edits, broadly construed, you are required by the Wikimedia Terms of Use to disclose your employer, client and affiliation. You can post such a mandatory disclosure to your user page at User:KyloRen3. The template {{Paid}} can be used for this purpose – e.g. in the form: {{paid|user=KyloRen3|employer=InsertName|client=InsertName}}. If I am mistaken – you are not being directly or indirectly compensated for your edits – please state that in response to this message. Otherwise, please provide the required disclosure. In either case, do not edit further until you answer this message. Umakant Bhalerao (talk) 05:35, 10 December 2020 (UTC)

Umakant Bhalerao, I am not doing any such thing, I have only participated in Wikipedia:WikiProject Women in Red/Meetup/178, as part of which I created this article. KyloRen3 (talk) 11:43, 10 December 2020 (UTC)

Indeed, this is only one of several pages you contributed at the meetup – thank you for your commitment! So the above message was clearly not appropriate. Umakant Bhalerao should have assume good faith in the first place. Possibly they were a bit tetchy since that article already has been recreated three times against consensus. (See Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Priya Rai (3rd nomination).) So I had to delete the article again; sorry that that means the work you put in it will not appear as an article.

The creation of the article was based on a misunderstanding. On the article's talk page, you wrote "If the article has such a big objection it should not be listed at Wikipedia:WikiProject_Women_in_Red/Missing_articles_by_nationality/India." However, that's not the basis for that list. As it says on top: "All new articles must satisfy Wikipedia's notability criteria; red links on this list may or may not qualify." ◅ Sebastian 19:37, 17 December 2020 (UTC)

My sincere apologies for the delay in responding. I was on a Wiki-break due to travelling. I apologize to you KyloRen3 if i was mistaken in the assumption that you have a WP:COI, but would like to explain why I assumed this was a paid article although It wasn't as you clarified above. You'd be startled to know, as I was, that this article has been repeatedly created under several titles over the last few months (see Priya Rai, Priya rai, Priya Anjali Rai, Priya Rai (pornographic actress), PRIYA RAI) and got deleted over a dozen times. It has a long history of sock and disruptive edits on it. Not only this, the pages were WP:AFD-tagged five times and deleted for being a non notable actress, yet it was recreated several times against consensus. The title 'Priya rai' was also protected from being created. I don't know if you researched thoroughly before creating this article, but i would highly suggest you do that going forward and most important thing is to check if a subject satisfies a notability criteria or not. I can understand how much effort and time it takes to create an article and how disheartening it is when your work gets deleted. As SebastianHelm rightly said and its also written on top "All new articles must satisfy Wikipedia's notability criteria; red links on this list may or may not qualify." It's not necessary that all the titles listed at Wikipedia:WikiProject Women in Red/Missing articles by nationality/India be notable ones and we should always make sure if they fulfill the notability requirements before creating them. Anyways, thank you so much for your contributions to Wikipedia, have a nice day!--Umakant Bhalerao (talk) 10:14, 6 January 2021 (UTC)
Wow, I wasn't even aware there were that many repeat creations. I, for one, didn't research that thoroughly before writing here and deleting the article. I now agree with KyloRen that it's just wrong to list such articles for creation and posted a message at Wikipedia talk:WikiProject Women in Red#Please click each red link in your list before asking others to create articles. ◅ Sebastian 13:43, 6 January 2021 (UTC)

Tetra Pak article updates

Hello, I'm Victor, an employee of Tetra Pak. I'm reaching out to you because I saw that you're a member of WikiProject Sweden and thought you might be interested in taking a look at my suggested edit for the Tetra Pak article. Because of my conflict of interest, which I've disclosed on the article's Talk page, I won't edit the entry directly. The page has become quite outdated and my goal is to provide improved sourcing and updated company information. After trying the article Talk page, the edit request queue, and WikiProject Sweden, I haven't had any luck finding editors who will review my edit request. If you're interested, you can see my request here. Thanks for your time, Victor at TetraPak (talk) 12:12, 23 March 2021 (UTC)

A tag has been placed on File:Gunnar Larsson (sports administrator).jpg requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section F7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because it is a non-free file with a clearly invalid licensing tag; or it otherwise fails some part of the non-free content criteria. If you can find a valid tag that expresses why the file can be used under the fair use guidelines, please replace the current tag with that tag. If no such tag exists, please add the {{Non-free fair use}} tag, along with a brief explanation of why this constitutes fair use of the file. If the file has been deleted, you can re-upload it, but please ensure you place the correct tag on it.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". Rajput resistance article

Hii, It seems that you edited Rajput resistance to Muslim conquests article and fix some errors. Please do one more favour on that article soon i.e. Please change lead of the article to reflect the content in the body to make it a good article. (There are multiple aceadmic sources added by IP though). 2402:8100:2162:F715:9151:CA74:567C:AEE0 (talk) 03:10, 4 June 2021 (UTC)

Hi, do you have any suggestions for the same? Also, I have only cleaned up the grammar. I have not verified that all the information stated is properly referenced; do you think that is an issue? KyloRen3 (talk) 06:28, 4 June 2021 (UTC)

@KyloRen3: Nope that isn't a issue at all, Since the sources are there with full quotes. I am just suggesting you to produce a better lead summary about their resistance instead of the current one which doesn't seems enclyopedia and if there are more gramatic errors Please, fix it soon. Thanks. 2402:3A80:1050:574F:8DFA:6F99:344B:B4F0 (talk) 07:58, 4 June 2021 (UTC)

Disruptive editing

I see that you had given 3 warnings to AmNaTi200. User is on a rampage and not following any suggestions. I haven't reviewed the latest edits today, it's too much of work. - Jay Talk 07:20, 9 June 2021 (UTC)

Yes, agreed. What do you suggest? KyloRen3 (talk) 07:21, 9 June 2021 (UTC)
Where is the border between disruptive editing and vandalism? The third warning was for vandalism to Manoj Bajpayee. Did these edits count as vandalism? However, not following community recommended practices is problematic. - Jay Talk 07:36, 9 June 2021 (UTC)
Agreed, I issued him the vandalism warning because he reverted my edits and went ahead and did what he wanted to, anyway. KyloRen3 (talk) 09:54, 9 June 2021 (UTC)

I am aware of Wikipedia policies about WP:Aspersions. Revert my edit after reading, and don't comment. Commenting on editor's ethnicity is inappropriate in Wikipedia, but if the editor is Pakistani editing Indian topic area without mentioning that:

I checked his edit count and pages edited by him.

He has not mentioned on his userpage, but his most edited pages are related to Pakistan:

He has joined Wikipedia to support Islamists, Muslim fundamentalists and Pakistanis. His talk page has warnings by other users. He has not violated much Wikipedia rules, as he is very much educated. 2402:3A80:1102:E15C:A867:8C24:49C6:AA9E (talk) 14:47, 4 July 2021 (UTC)

I have taken this to WP:ANI. See this link for more details. Canvassing other users to engage in WP:WITCH HUNTS is not allowed on Wikipedia and neither is attaching races or ethnic groups you hate to users for the purposes of being racist. NarSakSasLee (talk) 16:24, 4 July 2021 (UTC)
NarSakSasLee, sorry about this, especially for it to happen on my Talk page. Just know that I do not approve of IP user's behaviour. Whatever problems I had with your content, I will discuss in an appropriate manner in the section I have created on the article Talk page. KyloRen3 (talk) 05:12, 5 July 2021 (UTC)
Hi Kylo, no problem. And yes please if you could reply to that section that would be great. NarSakSasLee (talk) 18:10, 5 July 2021 (UTC)

Hello, the previous version of Farmers Protest Republic Day Parade was far from neutral. Biased points were made without citation. Please read the changes I made and you will see which version is more neutral. It appears you are repeatedly undoing the changes to keep the page in its previous condition which was biased, without citation and far from neutral. As wikipedia promotes neutrality, I will have to report you for continuing this behavior. Update: Thanks for finding a middle ground and making the page more neutral.

Hi JoeBrar, as mentioned by you, I have modified the text and moved the article to a more neutral title. If you have further suggestions, please discuss them on the article's Talk page. Thanks. KyloRen3 (talk) 07:50, 8 July 2021 (UTC)

I can see you reverted the text I removed from the article. Please refer to these articles [1](1) https://www.republicworld.com/india-news/general-news/farmers-protest-intensifies-skl-leader-threatens-to-implement-punjab-haryana-model-in-up.html (3) . Its clear that BKU and All India Kisan Sangharsh Co-ordination Committee are actively participating in the protest. So I am gonna undo your changes. — Preceding unsigned comment added by JoeBrar (talkcontribs) 12:16, 8 July 2021 (UTC)

Please see what Wikipedia has to say about WP:ORIGINALRESEARCH and WP:VERIFIABILITY and WP:RELIABLESOURCES. This information is nothing but conjecture. KyloRen3 (talk) 13:53, 8 July 2021 (UTC)
Its not conjecture, these are facts. BKU is the main organization heading the protests. Just search "Indian farmers protests", head over to news, and see the latest news stories to verify. I have given you 3 news articles I can give more if you want. Please research on internet. How can the main body running the protests quit the protest? — Preceding unsigned comment added by JoeBrar (talkcontribs) 15:03, 8 July 2021 (UTC)
JoeBrar, your sources do not mention the BKU and the AIKSCC. Which makes it WP:ORIGINALRESEARCH. Simple timeline of events: the protest turns violent, they announce that they withdraw from the protests. Whether they joined back or not can be covered separately, but that does NOT justify removal of the content and the fact that they did announce their withdrawal. KyloRen3 (talk) 19:57, 8 July 2021 (UTC)

This is a standard message to notify contributors about an administrative ruling in effect. It does not imply that there are any issues with your contributions to date.

You have shown interest in India, Pakistan, and Afghanistan. Due to past disruption in this topic area, a more stringent set of rules called discretionary sanctions is in effect. Any administrator may impose sanctions on editors who do not strictly follow Wikipedia's policies, or the page-specific restrictions, when making edits related to the topic.

For additional information, please see the guidance on discretionary sanctions and the Arbitration Committee's decision here. If you have any questions, or any doubts regarding what edits are appropriate, you are welcome to discuss them with me or any other editor.

Dilip Kumar

I saw such "other names" mentions on Amitabh Bachchan Wikipedia page. That's why I have added it this way. If this is inappropriate, then make same changes to that account too. And if "Dilip Saab" is invalid then please make changes in accounts of actors such as Rajinikanth or even Amitabh Bachchan for that purpose. Ds303 (talk) 11:31, 4 August 2021 (UTC)

Ds303, I honestly did not find these names specific to Kumar. Have added "Tragedy King" and "The First Khan" to the infobox. If you still feel that the names you added should be in the infobox, please start a discussion at Talk:Dilip Kumar. However, I would still discourage from "Dilip Saab", the same way as "Amit ji" or "Amit Saab" has not found a place here on Wikipedia.  Kylo Ren III  (talk ☎️) 11:55, 4 August 2021 (UTC)

Look you have added English names such as "Tragedy King" or "The First Khan"(in retrospective). Masses don't refer him by these names, they are only for data management and nothing else. Generally, people call him as "Abhinay Samrat" in Hindi, there are numerous citations, one can give like the mention in a recent episode of the most popular daily soap in India, "Taarak Mehta ka Ooltah Chashma". You can yourself search on internet for more such references. Similarly in Urdu, they call him "Shahenshah-e-Jazbaat". Again you can look for it on the internet, there are numerous posters across the country for the same. Even in reference to his film, Kohinoor (1960), media and people call him as the "Kohinoor of Hindi cinema", in response to how Amitabh Bachchan and Shah Rukh Khan are called as "Shahenshah" or "Baadshah" in reference to their films respectively. The newspapers were filled with this name the day after he died. So either in the same column or somewhere else in the page highlight the "actual names" that people refer him to rather than just bookish English terms, who no one uses except for data management. Ds303 (talk) 04:35, 5 August 2021 (UTC)

Ds303, please raise this concern on the article Talk page, backed by sufficient reliable sources, so that we may reach some WP:CONSENSUS on the same.  Kylo Ren III  (talk ☎️) 11:23, 5 August 2021 (UTC)

Women in Red 8th Anniversary
In July 2015 around 15.5% of the English Wikipedia's biographies were about women. As of July 2023, 19.61% of the English Wikipedia's biographies are about women. That's a lot of biographies created in the effort to close the gender gap. Happy 8th Anniversary!
