Please be advised that it is not allowed to simply paste copyrighted material to wikipedia articles. See WP:NOT. Please don't just overwrite other editor's contribution with what you consider is better: you removed wiki formated content and replaced it with plain text excerpts from a company (ultimately commercial) website. I don't know if you work for Weatehrford, however, first person is to be avoided at all times in an encyclopedic article, see WP:MOS. Finally, please be avare of 3 revert rule when replacing article content. Thank you. --Qyd 15:12, 17 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks for your reply. Wikipedia is a collective effort to write a unbiased encyclopedia. If has some guidelines and principles. Here are some things to take in account, click the blue links for more information:
We strive to keep a Neutral point of view, and have everything under a free licence. For this reason, it is not allowed to copy paste from commercial websites, and information contained therein is to be filtered and presented in a neutral, simple and informative language. Content of wikipedia is to be verified from external/indpendent sources. In other words, the wikipedia entry will not necessary reflect the corporation's point of view, but tries to hav a neutral one. (No, I don't work for Weatehrford, but I used their services on many occasions).
Rather than replace content, it is advisable to add to existing content, or when updating information, it is good practice to keep the wiki markup. For the logo, you can use {{logo}} at licensing. There are many things to take in account, I'd be happy to assist, don't hesitate to ask.
Finally, please sign your name on talk pages using four tildes (~~~~); this will automatically produce your name and the date. --Qyd 14:49, 18 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]

License tagging for Image:Weatherford - BLACK TEXT Small for web.jpg[edit]

Thanks for uploading Image:Weatherford - BLACK TEXT Small for web.jpg. Wikipedia gets thousands of images uploaded every day, and in order to verify that the images can be legally used on Wikipedia, the source and copyright status must be indicated. Images need to have an image tag applied to the image description page indicating the copyright status of the image. This uniform and easy-to-understand method of indicating the license status allows potential re-users of the images to know what they are allowed to do with the images.

For more information on using images, see the following pages:

This is an automated notice by OrphanBot. If you need help on selecting a tag to use, or in adding the tag to the image description, feel free to post a message at Wikipedia:Media copyright questions. 15:23, 17 October 2006 (UTC)

Please note that your repeated replacement of wikipedia content with SPAM and Copyright violations resulted in the temporary deletion of the article. Your edits diff, diff and diff qualify as spam, and do not follow the Manual of style, and constitute a breach of the 3 revert rule. Either get familiar with wikipedia policies and guidelines, or stop editing. If one of your edits is (repeatedly) reversed, consider bringing up the issue in the article's talk page instead. Thank you. Qyd 00:22, 25 November 2006 (UTC)[reply]
