Tunable nanoporous carbon[edit]

Writing a wikipedia article is a difficult task and you're doing great so far. Don't hesitate to post a question here or at my talk. Some comments:

As an encyclopedia, wikipedia (WP) should keep a neutral point of view (WP:NPOV). Regarding Tunable nanoporous carbon, I would avoid using names and focusing on one institution - this would immediately raise concerns of WP:COI, or simply put, that someone is promoting their research.
I haven't check that, but if the article uses some text from internet pages (hopefully not), it must be reformulated.
The article mentions figures. If they can be uploaded without copyright concerns - great, if not - the text needs to be adjusted.
Names of the chemicals are not capitalized unless they are trademarks (Teflon, etc).

I'll need some time to answer your question on other "companies" working on this topic. I'm quite sure "tunable nanoporous carbon" is not more than a name for a porous carbon material. Disordered carbon nanotubes could be close to that, and usual carbon nanotubes are used as supercapacitors. One thing, when you post a message, sign it with for ~ (tildas) - this will automatically produce your name and timestamp, and this is required from message posting on WP (but never in the articles). Another thing - user pages should normally be edited by the users themselves only - messages are to be posted at their talk pages. Cheers. As you're an IT person, it should take little time to learn wiki coding, and you can always ask. There are many things one can do on wikipedia (WP) and one's specialty or skills don't really matter - for example, I edit articles which are far from my major field. Yes, it is expected that you'll do some research for the topic you're writing on, but otherwise, there are many articles and "projects" where many people are working together. Sooner or later somebody will edit your article too. Cheers. PS. When you edit any page, better leave the "edit summary" in the narrow box below which briefly explains what you've done - this might be annoying first, but it greatly helps others (and yourself) to check things later. For example, if you add a page to your "watch list", you'll see that summary whenever someone edits that page.
