Oh, and Iggy Pop is not Polish at all (the IMDB is full of fan-submitted junk information and should not be used as a source). According to this full-length book biography, searchable online,[1] - Iggy Pop is Irish and English on his father's side (his father was adopted by a Swedish-American family, hence the name) and Danish and Norwegian on his mother's. List of Polish Jews

Your help is needed in preventing the addition of unsourced names to the list. The tagged names like Wocjciech Jerzy Has and Michał Waszyński have stayed on the list unreferenced for weeks now. I tried to get others to look for what I couldn't find by making a comment on Source on the talk page. I was ignored. Category:Polish Jews

Hi. I see you added Benny Begin to this category. Although his father Menachem was indeed Polish (albeit born in Belarus), Benny is a Sabra (i.e. native-born Israeli) and I don't think he should be in this category - almost all Jews born in Israel were born to parents or grandparents from other countries. If you have no objections, I will remove him and several others (e.g. Ehud Barak) from this category. Number 57 11:07, 9 May 2007 (UTC)

Yes, he is of Polish origin, but as he was born in Israel and doesn't hold Polish citizenship (like Barak), he isn't really a "Polish Jew", more like an "Israeli of Polish descent". As I said, the problem is that almost all Israelis could be classed in this way if this definition is used. Ben Sahar on the other hand, is a Polish Jew as although he was born in Israel, he holds Polish citizenship. Number 57 11:24, 9 May 2007 (UTC)

Do you think ethnic origin for Jews in Israel (beyond Ashkenazi/Mizrahi/Ethiopian) is a notable enough topic to merit a category? Country / origin categories

Why do you remove a category from René Goscinny again, even after I added a source on the talkl page (as requested), when on the other hand you add such a category to Diane Wakoski, even though there is no source for that either? Hi, you added category "University of Warsaw alumni" to the article Paul Erdős. What were the reasons/basis for that? It appears that Paul Erdos was not really connected with Warsaw Univ. Order of precedence help, please

Kowalmistrz, I do not believe I am making a basic mistake. Even the official website of the British monarchy (precedence page) states: "Generally speaking, the children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren of a Sovereign, as well as their spouses, are members of the Royal Family. First cousins of the monarch may also be included. Children are included on coming of age or after they have completed their education." http://www.royal.gov.uk/ThecurrentRoyalFamily/Successionandprecedence/Precedence/Overview.aspx As such, a royal HRH great grandson of the current Sovereign certainly ranks at the Royal Family level (at the very least following HRH Prince Michael). By contrast, George, Earl of St Andrews is a great grandchild of a former Sovereign, so I see no basis to place the new Prince George of Cambridge below him in precedence. In any event, we shall see for certain where the new prince fits in the table of precedence at the Royal Family level when he comes of age, but it is misleading in my opinion to place him now at the level of the Earl of St Andrews.Trajanis (talk) 05:30, 25 July 2013 (UTC)
