Hi. Looks like you've been here a while so I gave you our standard welcome message. When I notice someone with an account but a blank talk page I drop by and welcome them. It's an informal system. I don't track account creation so I'll only notice a person when they edit a page in my watchlist and are still the latest editor when I check my watchlist. It appears the welcome was over due. Image copyright problem with Image:Music-Aqualung-artist_1x1.jpg[edit]

Thanks for uploading Image:Music-Aqualung-artist_1x1.jpg. However, the image may soon be deleted unless we can determine the copyright holder and copyright status. The Wikimedia Foundation is very careful about the images included in Wikipedia because of copyright law (see Wikipedia's Copyright policy).

The copyright holder is usually the creator, the creator's employer, or the last person who was transferred ownership rights. Copyright information on images is signified using copyright templates. The three basic license types on Wikipedia are open content, public domain, and fair use. Find the appropriate template in Wikipedia:Image copyright tags and place it on the image page like this: {{TemplateName}}.

Please signify the copyright information on any other images you have uploaded or will upload. Remember that images without this important information can be deleted by an administrator. License tagging for Image:Notgoing.jpg[edit]

Thanks for uploading Image:Notgoing.jpg. Wikipedia gets hundreds of images uploaded every day, and in order to verify that the images can be legally used on Wikipedia, the source and copyright status must be indicated. Images need to have an image tag applied to the image description page indicating the copyright status of the image. This uniform and easy-to-understand method of indicating the license status allows potential re-users of the images to know what they are allowed to do with the images.

Fair use images in your userboxes[edit]

Hi, I was just looking through your userbox archive, and I noticed that all of them use a fair use image. Unfortunately, the use of fair use images on user pages is prohibited by Wikipedia policy (specifically #9 here). Hey, could you help me out[edit]

Could you help me out and verify I'm not going crazy. I tried to input my userbox, {{User:Lighthead/Photek}} onto the Wikipedia artists list; but the page went all wonky on me. Could you do it for me anyway you feel would be the way and tell me what happens. Maybe I'm doing it wrong. And trust me this isn't some reverse psychology test; I'm just really frustrated because I've been trying to do this for like 3 days, and I'm going slightly nuts.
