Information icon Hello, I'm Wesley Mouse. Your recent edit to the page Tuva in the Türkvizyon Song Contest appears to have added incorrect information, so I have removed it for now. If you believe the information was correct, please cite a reliable source or discuss your change on the article's talk page. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Tuva participated in the semi-final of the Türkvizyon Song Contest in 2014. All articles whether they are Turkvizyon, Eurovision, or other contests that hold a semi-final, MUST show their semi-final status - even if they did not qualify into the grand finals. WikiProject Eurovision Cup - April 2015[edit]

WikiProject Eurovision Cup
EuroCup II

Dear Project Member

The winner of the first Project Eurovision Cup is Jjj1238, who achieved an outstanding 108 points. Androptrnt finished in second place with 30 points, and Moldova96 in third with 15 points.

The second contest has begun, with participants from the first contest automatically registered. The EuroCup II will run from 1 April to 30 June, to allow people to get articles reviewed for GA or FA status. The aim of the competition is to help improve many of the articles within Project Eurovision that would have been otherwise left neglected, by carrying out as many objectives as possible. The more objectives you do, the more points you will earn. So have you got what it takes to be crowned winner of the next Project Eurovision Cup? Project members who wish to participate have until 18 April to sign up.

The Project Cup judges, Wesley Mouse and CT Cooper, wish you all the best of luck.

This may be of interest to you, as I have noticed you've been actively working hard to improve many articles that fall under the scope of WikiProject Eurovision. I sincerely hope that you do consider participating a project contest that is just a bit of fun, but with the aim to improve so many neglected articles. A tag has been placed on Seb's Unofficial Eurovision Song Contest 2015 requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A11 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about something invented/coined/discovered by the article's creator or someone they know personally, and it does not indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Click here to contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator. –Davey2010Talk 15:11, 5 June 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Junior Eurovision Song Contest 2015[edit]

Why have you used a source that is about Austria, on the section you wrote about Cyprus? The website esc-plus has been banned by ProjectEurovision, due to the fact they are "demanding ownership" of the article - something which they have no rights to do as they do not own Wikipedia. Reinstating edits from a blocked user[edit]

KingDriver, you aware that you reverted an admin with this edit? Wes Mouse | T@lk 17:04, 2 July 2015 (UTC)[reply]

CT Cooper had to go through all of the contributions created by an IP who had evaded their sock block; this is accordance with the WP:BANREVERT rule. All edits made by 173.49.72.168 (talk · contribs · WHOIS), as sock puppet of RebeccaTheAwesomeXD, had to be undone because of the policies set in place. Wes Mouse | T@lk 17:08, 2 July 2015 (UTC)[reply]

User pages[edit]

KingDriver, please be careful in regards to how much information you place on your main user page. Even though the section is in your account name, Wikipedia still "own" it. There are a few things you need to take into account, especially as you are underage. For example, not webhosting, user biographies, and youth protection. Perhaps having a read at the user page guidelines, especially the sections on WP:UPYES and WP:UPNO. Wes Mouse | T@lk 17:30, 7 July 2015 (UTC)[reply]

KingDriver, you are starting to go overboard with excessive personal information on your user page, which is going against the policy on what you may not have in your user pages. I strongly urge that you read the User Page policy in full detail. An admin has the right to remove any unsuitable content from your user page without notice. ABU TV Song Festival[edit]

KingDriver, I've done some improvements to one of the ABU TV Song Festival country articles (Afghanistan in the ABU TV Song Festival) making sure that they are in compliances with WP:BOLDTITLE, WP:MOS, and WP:CITELEAD; to list a few of the major manual of style policies that we're now suppose to be following. As you have been doing some expansion work to the [Country] in the ABU TV Song Festival articles, and are also taking part in the Project Eurovision Cup, I thought it would only be fair to see if you would like to use that article as a template to help expand all of the other articles to the same high standards of manual of style; and to assist you in increasing your score in the EuroCup contest. Regards, Wes Mouse  16:58, 20 August 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Assessment of newly created articles[edit]

KingDriver, please remember to also tag and assess talk pages when you create new articles. I noticed that Crimea in the Bala Türkvizyon Song Contest which you created (and other articles you had created), did not have the talk pages made, nor where they assessed. The assessment is a vitally important part of WikiProject Eurovision, so that we know as near accurate as possible how many articles are under the project scope, and also if any article were to be nominated for whatever reasons, it notifies the article alert system. If you are uncertain how to tag a talk page and assess them, then there is a detailed guide at Wikipedia:WikiProject Eurovision/Assessment. Also if you are adding/removing countries from annual contest pages, remember to update the navigation template too, such as Template:Bala Türkvizyon Song Contest 2015. Wes Mouse  15:33, 11 September 2015 (UTC)[reply]

KingDriver, you are still not creating the talk pages for articles that you create. Please make sure that Dagestan in the Türkvizyon Song Contest has its talk page made, and appropriate wikiproject tags assigned to it. Wes Mouse  13:29, 12 September 2015 (UTC)[reply]

File source problem with File:ABU Dancing Festival 2016 map.svg[edit]

Thank you for uploading File:ABU Dancing Festival 2016 map.svg. I noticed that the file's description page currently doesn't specify who created the content, so the copyright status is unclear. If you did not create this file yourself, you will need to specify the owner of the copyright. If you obtained it from a website, please add a link to the page from which it was taken, together with a brief restatement of the website's terms of use of its content. If the original copyright holder is a party unaffiliated with the website, that author should also be credited. Please add this information by editing the image description page.

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page. If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

Hello, I noticed that you recently created a new page, Gagauzia in the Bala Türkvizyon Song Contest. First, thank you for your contribution; Wikipedia relies solely on the efforts of volunteers such as you. Unfortunately, the page you created covers a topic on which we already have a page – Bala Türkvizyon Song Contest. Because of the duplication, your article has been tagged for speedy deletion. Please note that this is not a comment on you personally and we hope you will continue helping to improve Wikipedia. If the topic of the article you created is one that interests you, then perhaps you would like to help out at Bala Türkvizyon Song Contest – you might like to discuss new information at the article's talk page.

If you think the article you created should remain separate, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator, or if you have already done so, you can place a request here. Additionally if you would like to have someone review articles you create before they go live so they are not nominated for deletion shortly after you post them, allow me to suggest the article creation process and using our search feature to find related information we already have in the encyclopedia. Try not to be discouraged. Wikipedia looks forward to your future contributions. KDS4444Talk 01:28, 15 December 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Userspace drafts[edit]

Hello,

I'm a bit concerned about some of the userspace drafts that you have created such as User:KingDriverFC/Europe's Best Song Contest 2016 and User:KingDriverFC/Balkan's Best Song Contest 2016. Per the Wikipedia:User pages guidelines, userspace drafts are supposed to be for the short-term drafting of real articles that will eventually be moved to the mainspace – see WP:UP#COPIES. WP:UP#GOALS prohibits Extensive writings and material on topics having virtually no chance whatsoever of being directly useful to the project, its community, or an encyclopedia article. and Games, roleplaying sessions, secret pages and other things pertaining to "entertainment" rather than "writing an encyclopedia". Such activities are generally frowned upon by the community. Since these drafts appear to be about fictional/online song contests, they qualify I'm afraid. Please note that Wikipedia is not a free web host and you should be using your userspace primarily to help build an encyclopedia, not for other purposes. I note that Wesley Mouse (talk · contribs) has raised similar issues with you previously. Please add {{db-u1}} to offending content so it may be deleted. Thank you. Article talk pages[edit]

KingDriver, I strongly notified you at #Assessment of newly created articles about the importance of creating a talk page as assessing it after you have created new articles for WikiProject Eurovision. You are still failing to follow this procedure, and it is becoming highly unfair that you should expect other's to complete your work for you. Failure to create the talk page and adding the project banners to them, means that the articles are not correctly accounted for in regards to the project's article assessment. I have just cleaned up the following list of articles that you failed yet again to create their respective talk pages:

Please respond to this message and acknowledge that you will indeed complete your actions in future. Wes Mouse  19:03, 8 March 2016 (UTC)[reply]

I am so sorry for causing any problems. I totally forgot about talk pages. I will try to succeed and create those talk pages whenever I can. I am sorry for being unfair and any disruption I have caused. KingDriverFC (talk) 16:59, 9 March 2016 (UTC) KingDriverFC[reply]
KingDriverFC, you are still not creating and assessing the talk pages for articles you created. Türkvizyon Song Contest 2016 is unassessed. Please be remembering to complete your actions if you wish to create articles. Otherwise, I may have to take this matter further and suggest that you be banned from creating articles because you are not completing the entire process. Wes Mouse  13:15, 4 June 2016 (UTC)[reply]

ABU Dancing Festival 2016[edit]

WikiProject Eurovision: Important Announcement[edit]

WikiProject Eurovision
Important Announcement

Dear Project Member

Following a project community discussion, which was raised over the use of English translation columns on annual contest articles, and advice from the lead coordinator of The Guild of Copy Editors, who are extremely knowledgeable in regards to all editing practises and manual of style policies. A consensus decision has been reached to fully remove ALL English translations, as such content falls under the prohibition on original research, even if it seems helpful to the reader. This is because we have now to assume that every reader has access to automated translation tools that can always give them a sense of the meaning of the title in their native language; it is not Wikipedia's job to provide those tools for the reader. Which therefore means we are no longer to include an English translation column, nor are we to provide translation by any other means on contest articles.

Such information is currently in the process of being removed, and a new table formatting and layout style is being rolled out across all articles. Please view the new guidance on table layout at Wikipedia:WikiProject Eurovision/Format and Guides#Article layout. An example of the new table layout style can also be access via the collapsed section within this message. Thank you.

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited 2021–22 Slovak First Football League, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page FC. Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)

Notice

The article Zambia in the ABU TV Song Festival has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

The participation of Zambia exactly once in the ABU TV does not meet the standards for a standalone article per WP:GNG.

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the page to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. An article you recently created, Nepal in the ABU TV Song Festival, is not suitable as written to remain published. It needs more citations from reliable, independent sources. (?) Information that can't be referenced should be removed (verifiability is of central importance on Wikipedia). I've moved your draft to draftspace (with a prefix of "Draft:" before the article title) where you can incubate the article with minimal disruption. When you feel the article meets Wikipedia's general notability guideline and thus is ready for mainspace, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page.
