Enrollment[edit]

The number 1,336 comes from the state report card, which was for LAST school year. So no, I don't count the students daily; I use the most recent reliable statistics available. --JonRidinger (talk) 04:25, 23 November 2010 (UTC)[reply]

That's unfortunate, however, there is no way to reliably cite the fact, nor is it critical to understanding of the article. Further, again, it is last year's enrollment, so it is unlikely the enrollment *right now* is exactly 1,336 anyway, though it is likely very near to that. We have to go with what the source says. That's how Wikipedia works. --JonRidinger (talk) 04:31, 23 November 2010 (UTC)[reply]
Since you know the words are interchangeable, why did it need to be changed? There is no point in editing or changing a word simply for preference. Word changes should be to add variety to the article, not simply a matter of preference. Second, as for stats, again, the 2009-2010 state report card is the most recent reliable enrollment statistic. Readers understand since the number has a source on it where it comes from. Any type of number statistic like that is merely a snapshot of a moment in time. For instance, the population number of a city is not a static number, but that doesn't mean we never post the most recent population estimate. Same for schools. --JonRidinger (talk) 04:42, 23 November 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Theodore Roosevelt High School[edit]

Hi Kent4Eva, It might probably advance any discussion about the article if future comments were to be centred on the Talk:Theodore Roosevelt High School (Kent, Ohio) instead of across several user talk pages. An editor has already started a discussion there.--Kudpung (talk) 04:48, 26 November 2010 (UTC)[reply]
