A note about AfD protocol[edit]

When participating in deletion discussion about an article, you should only make one "non-vote" in the discussion—that is, one recommendation of what to do with the article, which is usually either keep or delete. You can change your recommendation in the course of discussion; if you do so, format your old recommendation with strike-through (<s>struck-out text</s>) so it's easier to follow. However, you should not repeat the same vote in every comment that you make in the discussion, as you seem to be doing with Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Zamora (musician). —C.Fred (talk) 05:50, 27 April 2010 (UTC)[reply]

ok thanks for this info :) --Katydelmar (talk) 05:52, 27 April 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Actually, it's a gray area about which venue to use. WP:Guide to deletion doesn't address the situation. However, I think the length of the full explanation detracts from consensus-building, so I feel it's more appropriate for the discussion of the merits of the (potential) sources to be on the article talk page. —C.Fred (talk) 06:11, 27 April 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Another note about AfD protocol[edit]

Please do not make changes to other users' posts in AfD. It's a waste of time, as we only put things back again anyway. Also, please do not tell me or others not to !vote or comment in a discussion. If you want to save the article, listen to what we are saying as experienced editors here. And do sign your posts with ~~~~. Peridon (talk) 15:50, 27 April 2010 (UTC)[reply]
