Re: SommerWiki

Hey Katalaveno... (I know I shouldn't be talking about this here... but I couldn't wait to tell you the news)...

I got back home about 20 minutes ago... and in the first 15... I netinstalled Fedora Core 7 (but let's not forget that my computer's $3000 :P) and in the last 5... I installed XAMPP and MediaWiki in 5 MINUTES!!!!. I'm not sure if I'm dreaming or if this is really true... but I thought that you might want to know.

ThePurpleMonkey(talkportalcontribs) 19:41, 5 June 2007 (UTC)

(P.S. I know I shouldn't be talking about this here, and you have my word that it'll never happen again :D ) (P.S.S. And it's working now, too! Now, I'll have time to make a logo!!!!)

Hey that's great! And, you're right... this isn't really the place to talk about it. But it's okay... You are at least discussing Mediawiki. BTW - Does this mean that you are donating your Alienware computer now?  ;-) κaτaʟavenoTC 00:34, 6 June 2007 (UTC)
Actually... I'm quite pissed (excuse my language) at Alienware... their parent company... Dell (go figure) is being sued for their shifty practises (can I get in on that lawsuit?????) And... i've had to make 23 SUPPORT CALLS becuase of their poor design and manufacturing. So, maybe I'll donate it when I get some funds to buy a new one. (And I thought Alienware would be a good manufacturer....) The only good thing is my ATI Radeon X1950 Pro :D . And, my CD drive hasn't had any problems. But, everything else has XD. Oh well. And, if you find a phone number for AComData, then could you tell me? My drive still doesn't work :(.
But, if we put my tech woes aside, then I'm sure we can work this out :D.

Rfa

Just dropping by to say "thank you" for supporting me in my recent my RfA. I passed the vote, and am now an admin. It will take me some getting used to with the new tools, but I thank you again for the trust. Have a good one, and, as always, happy editing! Jmlk17 05:00, 8 June 2007 (UTC)

Discs

I hate having to contact you via Wikipedia when this is (clearly) not a wikipedia issue... but I need to know what order the (harvey) discs are in. Is the order 6-7-8-9-10? I don't think so, but you wouldn't want a mismatched video!.

Thanks,

ThePurpleMonkey(talkcontribs) 23:07, 19 June 2007 (UTC)

P.S. I would like the answer via e-mail if that's ok...

P.S.S. Mandriva has solved all our problems!!!!! (Saying a final goodbye to Ubuntu and Fedora :P)

I uploaded a photo titled Louise Caire Clark to be placed on the article about her. The photo is being held pending deletion. I believe the photo to be compliant with the rules but don't know how to unlock and place it.

thanks Ron
