Image deletion[edit]

Kevin - The image was deleted because you uploaded it under a license that said it was only allowed to be used on Wikipedia. Unfortunately that does not fit with Wikipedia's goal of being a truly free encyclopedia where other people, companies, or organizations can freely use content from Wikipedia (with proper attribution). This leaves two options for your image:

If you truly have the right to release the copyright of the front page of your newspaper, you can upload it with a {{GFDL}} or a {{cc-by-sa}} license. However, I have serious doubts that as an editor you have the authorization to waive the school's copyrights on part of the newspaper.

The other option, which seems most reasonable to me, is to upload the file under a claim of fair use with the license {{newspapercover}}. You will also need to write a fair use rationale.

Rade[edit]

Please view my comments at the WP:AFD for this article. In your nomination statement, you wrote that the article was deleted by AFD, but I looked at the AFD(Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Rade) and the result was to keep, and there is no entry in the deletion log. Could you please review the article again in light of this new information?

When you make AFD nominations, please be sure to use the template for creating the AFD discussion page. The template is {{afd2}} and the correct use of the template can be found on Wikipedia:Articles for deletion (be sure to subst it). I corrected a couple of them that you had submitted at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Rade (second nomination) and Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/List of major cities with Kurdish population.
