Please do not add commercial links (or links to your own private websites) to Wikipedia. Wikipedia is not a vehicle for advertising or a mere collection of external links. Apologies if I have offended you in some way. I had created content for the areas Costa del sol and Costa Calida where I live and work, and whilst I realise that this is not a links directory, I thought that my sites are of interest to individuals looking for property in these and other areas? If they are not appropriate or not wanted then by all means remove them.

On a completely unrelated note - I've just read your talk page and noticed your Theoretical Linguistics project. I studied a joint honours English Lang and Lit BA at Newcastle University (UK). It was over 12 years ago now, but I can remember my tragic essays on semantics & pragmatics, dialectology, proto indo-european etc.. arrgh - Funnily enough I have just gently reawakened my interest in all this stuff by buying a book this last week called Balderdash and Piffle which is a great non-technical look at the etymology of many English words. OK. No, there isn't a policy as such (that I can think of) about not removing warnings from talk pages, but removing warnings without a comment or discussion is typical behavior of vandals. I can see that you're not a vandal, so I maybe should have spoken less harshly. We do try to keep commercial links out of Wikipedia.

Do join us in the theoretical linguistics project. It's been more than 30 years since I finished my PhD in linguistics, and I've been out of the field ever since, so it's a bit of a slog for me. -- Dalbury^(Talk) 19:38, 26 January 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Speedy deletion of Proptrack[edit]

A tag has been placed on Proptrack, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G11 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article seems to be blatant advertising which only promotes a company, product, group, service or person and would need to be fundamentally rewritten in order to become an encyclopedia article. Please read the guidelines on spam as well as Wikipedia:FAQ/Business for more information.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}} to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the article meets the criterion it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines.
