Welcome![edit]

Hello, Josef9, and welcome to Wikipedia! Thank you for your contributions. I hope you like the place and decide to stay. Unfortunately, one or more of the pages you created, such as Mason (American band), may not conform to some of Wikipedia's guidelines, and may not be retained.

There's a page about creating articles you may want to read called Your first article. If you are stuck, and looking for help, please come to the New contributors' help page, where experienced Wikipedians can answer any queries you have! Or, you can just type {{helpme}} on this page, followed by your question, and someone will show up shortly to answer your questions. Here are a few other good links for newcomers:

I hope you enjoy editing here and being a Wikipedian! Please sign your name on talk pages using four tildes (~~~~); this will automatically produce your name and the date. If you have any questions, check out Wikipedia:Questions or ask me on my talk page. Again, welcome! Grammarxxx (What'd I do this time?) 23:58, 27 March 2013 (UTC)[reply]

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on Mason (American band) requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a band or musician, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please read more about what is generally accepted as notable.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Click here to contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, you can place a request here. Speedy deletion nomination of Harbour (Mason album)[edit]

Hello Josef9,

I wanted to let you know that I just tagged Harbour (Mason album) for deletion, because it seems to be inappropriate for a variety of reasons.

If you feel that the article shouldn't be deleted and want more time to work on it, you can contest this deletion, but please don't remove the speedy deletion tag from the top.

You can leave a note on my talk page if you have questions. Thanks, Boweruk (talk) 16:16, 1 April 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Wow why did you delete my page i never said it was ready to be a article yet — Preceding unsigned comment added by Josef9 (talkcontribs) 16:35, 1 April 2013 (UTC)[reply]

If it wasn't ready to be a full article, you shouldn't have created a page. If you want to test your page, or start work on one, use your Sandbox page. Only create the article when it's ready or at least in a semi-readable state. Boweruk (talk) 19:00, 1 April 2013 (UTC)[reply]
it was a user page before you moved it to the new title — Preceding unsigned comment added by Josef9 (talkcontribs) 19:19, 1 April 2013 (UTC)[reply]
I didn't move it. I simply marked it for deletion because it doesn't meet notability or quality guidelines required for Wikipedia. Also, please remember to sign your posts on talk pages with ~~~~ so it's easier to keep track of who said what. Boweruk (talk) 19:22, 1 April 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Userspace drafts and album articles[edit]

Hi. An article in your userspace needs to start "User:Josef9/" not "User/Josef9/" The best way to start a draft is to click on Help:Userspace draft and fill in the title - that will make a page for you.

Articles about albums or songs by a band who don't yet have an article are liable to be speedy-deleted. Make an article about the band first, reading WP:Your first article and making sure you have references to show how they meet WP:MUSICBIO. Even if the band is notable, it doesn't follow that their albums are: there needs to be significant coverage in reliable, independent secondary sources about the album - see WP:NALBUMS. Your contributed article, King Solomon Seals[edit]

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

Hello, I noticed that you recently created a new page, King Solomon Seals. First, thank you for your contribution; Wikipedia relies solely on the efforts of volunteers such as you. Unfortunately, the page you created covers a topic on which we already have a page – Seal of Solomon. Because of the duplication, your article has been tagged for speedy deletion. Please note that this is not a comment on you personally and we hope you will continue helping to improve Wikipedia. If the topic of the article you created is one that interests you, then perhaps you would like to help out at Seal of Solomon – you might like to discuss new information at the article's talk page.

If you think the article you created should remain separate, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Click here to contest this speedy deletion". Additionally if you would like to have someone review articles you create before they go live so they are not nominated for deletion shortly after you post them, allow me to suggest the article creation process and using our search feature to find related information we already have in the encyclopedia. Try not to be discouraged. Wikipedia looks forward to your future contributions. Jschnur (talk) 02:14, 15 April 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Your RFA[edit]

You should withdraw your RFA as you are not nearly experienced enough to have any chance of becoming an admin at this time. See WP:NOTNOW. Everymorning (talk) 00:56, 6 February 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Hi, I'm sorry about this but I've closed your RfA. At this time, I'm afraid you have no chance of success. You don't yet have the experience needed to be an effective administrator. As a rough guide, it's generally considered premature to apply for adminship before you've made at leas 5,000 edits and have a year's regular editing under your belt. Please don't be disheartened; admin work isn't much fun (trust me, I've been doing it for six years!) and you don't need to edit. You can still write articles and participate in the community—we just have admins to do some boring maintenance work. Please do stick around and gain more experience, then consider re-applying for adminship down the road. Best, HJ Mitchell | Penny for your thoughts? 01:11, 6 February 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Marmosets[edit]

Wikipedia is not a how-to manual. The info you added is either too general (applies to many pets) or some specific marmoset. So Find out which and go there. Cas Liber (talk · contribs) 01:23, 6 February 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Proposed deletion of Vipshop[edit]

The article Vipshop has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

The coverage (references, external links, etc.) does not seem sufficient to justify this article passing Wikipedia:General notability guideline and the more detailed Wikipedia:Notability (companies) requirement. If you disagree and deprod this, please explain how it meets them on the talk page in the form of "This article meets criteria A and B because..." and ping me back. Thank you,

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. Piotr Konieczny aka Prokonsul Piotrus| reply here 06:02, 4 April 2016 (UTC)[reply]

If you want to work on an article without danger of deletion, please start it in Wikipedia:Draftspace or your Wikipedia:Sandbox. If an article is in the mainspace, it has to meet minimum requirements for an article, such as have references more content. You can move it to your sandbox, just copy the one sentence and work on it there. --Piotr Konieczny aka Prokonsul Piotrus| reply here 08:10, 7 April 2016 (UTC)[reply]
