Thanks for your e-mail

It's always nice to meet another XKCD fan. :) This is a pretty relevant one too (I'm pretty sure people have actually done that now). Roscelese (talkcontribs) 02:22, 21 August 2011 (UTC)

Thank you for understanding and for answering. Regards, Jorge Peixoto (talk) 13:50, 21 August 2011 (UTC)

Did you already go to Wikipedia:Categories for discussion? NYyankees51 (talk) 03:56, 26 August 2011 (UTC)

Yeah, the discussion over there isn't getting a lot of participants, and still fewer who weren't already involved! I came over here to ask the same thing, basically: where do you think we should take it next in the hope of more input? (It might be a bit complicated for CfD, but we could give it a try. Or an RfC or something?) Or should we just assume we're good and start working on putting the plan into action? –Roscelese (talkcontribs) 05:12, 28 August 2011 (UTC)
I'm looking at Wikipedia:Categories_for_discussion. I'm reading the rules over there. -- Jorge Peixoto (talk) 20:50, 28 August 2011 (UTC)
Can you do that for me (read the rules at Wikipedia:Categories_for_discussion and then make a proposal)? I'm too busy with study. -- Jorge Peixoto (talk) 20:44, 29 August 2011 (UTC)

:(

"A long trail of discontent - often testing the authority of the church - led up to the cause celebre." - JP, this is plagiarism. I thought we talked about this. (Also see the discussion on the talk page about due weight, but that's a separate issue.) –Roscelese (talkcontribs) 01:13, 31 August 2011 (UTC)

Sorry. I lacked attention. Is it better now? -- Jorge Peixoto (talk) 01:33, 31 August 2011 (UTC)
Also unrelatedly, may I recommend rephrasing your most recent edit? It gives the impression that O'Rourke was an ex-Jesuit at the time, which is incorrect. If you feel it is important that that first sentence convey that he later ceased to be a Jesuit (which is explained later in the paragraph), perhaps it could be phrased as "Joseph O'Rourke, then a Jesuit priest" or "Joseph O'Rourke, who at the time was a Jesuit priest." –Roscelese (talkcontribs) 01:18, 31 August 2011 (UTC)
Done. -- Jorge Peixoto (talk) 01:33, 31 August 2011 (UTC)
The changes you've made look good. (As I said, I still think it's way too much coverage of this event, but that's a separate issue.) And I'm generally not too far from the computer if you need English-related help, so let me know (I don't speak Portuguese, but I'll see what I can do with Italian/French similarities...). –Roscelese (talkcontribs) 02:16, 31 August 2011 (UTC)
